The service at the hotel was outstanding. From the front desk to the staff at the pool and the beach, we were spoiled. I was particularly impressed with Patricia and Diego who not only served us by the beach, but took the time to get to know us personally.

Great location, only a few minutes from Malecon. Best beach along this stretch of hotels with more palm trees for shade if you want to spend time on the beach. Fantastic staff! Marco and Patricia provide entertaining service by the pool and are super friendly! Loved it!

This hotel combines great facilities with a convenient location and an above average staff give you a great vacation experience. Perfectly located away from the bustle of downtown but within a $4 cab ride to either downtown or the marina. Virtually all rooms have balconies with great ocean views. Pool fits both youngsters and adults with both sun and shade areas. Pool service staff is extraordinary to serve your every need. Take advantage of the great restaurants throughout PV.

The staff were all very friendly and positively accommodating. We asked advice on using a taxi company to travel to Rincon de Gualabitos from Puerto Vallarta. We were recommended to one gentleman that spoke some English and he was exceptionally good to us for the entire day at a very good price for his taxi services.

The Fiesta Americana is a really great hotel. The staff was so helpful and courteous. Our room was spacious and clean. We were on the 8th floor so we had a perfect view of the ocean. We would recommend this hotel.

We have returned to the Fiesta Americana in PVR for the last 7 years over the Thanksgiving holiday. We usually stay for 10 days on the Fiesta Club floor which includes continental breakfast in the morning and appetizers and drinks in the evening. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have a fabulous view. The hotel is in a great location with a nice beach plus all the amenities you need. One of the nicest reasons we return is because they have an experienced staff that we enjoy seeing year after year.

Things were ok, upgraded to Club Floor (9) where you had to have room on floor for elevator to stop, used room key. Sat. night went out for a nice dinner about 7pm - came back about 8:30 and could see room light was on, which was ok as maid turned down bed in evenings. When I used the room key to open the door a guy appears in our room, we were startled to say the least, he says our room was robbed and our safe was open and that he was with security, (no ID), and that the maid had accessed our room twice that night. Money was gone from and evelope and my wife's wallet in a safe I HAD LOCKED when we left. Anyway no contact from management, we had to contact them the next morning. They did not want to call police and gave us the money we lost, a free meal, and said sorry. At one of the other hotels we went to for breakfast staff said they had heard that this was happening at Fiesta Americana. We still wonder why the security guy, who is suppose to be the head guy, was in our room with the door locked behind him!!! They accused the maid on Sat night and she did not show up for work on Sunday, - wonder why - did she do it or someone else. Access to floor is restricted to those staying on the floor plus staff.

Only hotel I have traveled to for vacation that immediately gave me a negative impression. It's first directive to the hotel guest? Don't bring food or beverages!!!! Even before you get to the front lobby or to your room you are reminded constantly not to bring food on premises!!! Odd rule since no other hotel that I have traveled to in Mexico, Europe, or the USA has welcomed their guest with such a ridiculous limitation. Beyond that the hotel is an average hotel 3 Stars in my book at best. The rooms are comforatable but in need of some TLC, like paining the the walls & fixing tiles. Walls are very thin. If you booked this with the $125 credit the staff seems to forget when you are settling your bill!!! Oh, you had a credit? Can I see your voucher? Come on!!! You mean you don't know which package/rate I bokked??? Had to spend 15-20 with the front desk getting my credit!!! Careful with the concierge, AKA timeshare staff!!! I will avoid this place.

It was average. Room had mold and was musty. The location was in the hotel zone which was fine but we prefer staying at the Marina. My husband speaks Spanish and the staff was just not very engage. Maybe it was because it was a skow time of the year.
