Great location, great value
had a great time and location was perfect. had a couple mishaps at check-in w/ room a/c not working and toilet not working, but fortunately was able to be moved to different room after a bit back and forth

Pleasant Surprise!
From Check-in to Check-out this was a wonderful experience. This is a boutique type hotel [*] who are there to relax and feel something different while on vacation. This time of year was perfect as there was always a chair/umbrella on the beach and the servers were anxious to take care of you. You may desire sunset cocktails on the roof-top bar with entertainment to the variety of restaurants/bars/clubs within easy walking distance. The concierge, [...] can fill you in on any excursion or recommendation. We took this trip on short notice and were able to get a Junior Suite. It was all marble and granite renovated with a perfect balcony vista to the beach and bay. We slept to the sounds of the waves crashing and ( with notice card on door ) the maids never disturbed us but serviced the room while we were gone. the room also had a complete kitchen but we mainly used the Fridge and coffee maker. I recommend this hotel and their staff. This is NOT a Hilton type of experience. It's Mexico. Have Fun!

Short walk from hotel
You are a short walk to several fun restaurants, bars and clubs. There are so many options that you can do no wrong with Mexican food on a beachside restaurant at or south of the hotel to a little bit more expensive fare at Marcel's ( a Swiss restaurant..great food and fun staff ) or take a $5 taxi to the Vista Grill at the top of Puerto Vallarta...a unique experience. Apache's is a great 2 for 1 extended happy hour cafe with a great mix of natives and tourists...expect music and great friendly converstaion.

Everyone was very courteous and very helpful. Every little detail was seen and every little thing we need was tended for. Great hotel will be coming back next year.

Perfect vacation!!
Definitely the best place to stay in puerto Vallarta!! Friendly staff, nice rooms, great rooftop entertainment, and walk out your room and you are on the beach.

A Perfect Beach Party!
Perfect location if you are looking for beach, fun and making new friends. The staff is very helpful, professional and extremely friendly. Room and public areas are well kept. For the value, you can't ask for more. We stayed for a week at the end of August and had a terrific time in a junior suite with excellent view and service. Only problems (and they were minor ones): the room needs better lighting, a microwave and maybe a little more items in the kitchenette. But really, none of that made any difference. The reception staff (Martin, Boris, Frederick) were fun and welcoming. The waiters at the excellent beach bar and restaurant (Moises, Francisco, Pedro, etc.) and at the fun rooftop bar (David, Alberto, etc.) are excellent. Thanks to Ramona and Carlos too. The whole team does an incredible job.

Entertainment tip:
In Hotel
You can walk to the beach straight from your room, have drinks and delicious snacks; sit on a blue beach chair and relax; under a "palapa" (or under the burning sun if you prefer). You don't have to worry about bringing cash with you since you can charge it to your room (our final tab was accurate and the prices good). And your belongings are taken care of while you swim or go for a walk! Perfect!

Our second holiday at the Blue Chairs and, once again, we had a great trip and a wonderful experience. Of course the location and the environment is perfect; right on the gay beach, walking distance to all the clubs and amenities ,amazing views, sunsets and, most importantly, a sense of safety and security everywhere. The convenience of fine and reasonable food and drinks served handsomely on the beach must also be mentioned. The staff, Jorge ,Erica and Boris at the front desk ,Andres and his staff on the beach, Gabriel in security and even our maid Andrea did their usual fine jobs to make our stay as perfect as possible. Make sure to catch the shows and the dancers at the rooftop bar. There is something going on every night. We visited all the cafes, clubs and restaurants and never needed even a cab due to the hotels perfect location. We look forward to our next visit ASAP!

Great Location
Overall I was happy with my stay. The room was clean and has a rustic charm. There was no TV in the room however. The staff was very friendly. I love the location since I could easily walk anywhere in the Romantic Zone.
