The Omni Puerto Aventuras Beach resort is in the very heart of the Mayan Riviera, between the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. The temperate climate makes it an ideal vacation choice at any time of year. - Puerto Aventuras is an exclusive Caribbean beachfront yachting community complete with full service marina and yacht club. Located one hour, twenty minutes south of Cancun and only 15 minutes from Playa Del Carmen, Xcaret and Tulum Ruins. The hotel is situated on a large white powdery beach with an excellent coral reef right off shore for snorkeling. The hotel is within walking distance to the marina with its shops, restaurants and the dolphin/manatee/sea lion reserve. Also within a short walk are tennis courts, a 9-hole golf course, nautical museum and the natural reserves located in this seaside marina/port community.

Great location, quiet hotel
The Omni is a quiet little hotel in a great location directly in the marina town. Shops and restaurants are just steps away. We had a marina view room with a large balcony and a clear view of the dolphin shows - that was a treat! The beach was a disappointment - very small and not much room to spead out from other people. I imagine the beach was much better before the hurricane a few years ago. Not much the hotel can do about that. The room was not huge, but large enough for two people. It was spotlessly clean with a Sony plasma TV. We had a large shower with a sliding door directly to the balcony. The king size bed was not very comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

In Hotel
Instead of the free continental breakfast, order what you'd like off the menu and they'll deduct the price of the continental breakfast from your total. We did that almost every day and the difference was usually less than 100 pesos.

Fantastic stay
were there for a wedding at a nother resort. Stay at the Ohmni was just to relax and enjoy ourselves

Good location within Riviera maya
It is a good small hotel with a very good location if you are visiting other areas within the riviera maya (Tulum, Xelha, Xcaret, Playa del Carmen, etc). The experience was overall good except for the staff in the pool bar. They were terribly rude and unfriendly.
