SAN LEONARDO HOTEL, PUEBLA, ROOM NOT READY AT 3pM, ELEVATOR BROKE 3X'S IN 24 HOURS
WELL THIS HOTEL LOBBY IS PRETTY......A BIT TATTERED! ROOM IS AVERAGE, BED IS OLD AND MATTRESS IS COVERED WITH WET SPOTS. SERVICE IS POOR, WHEN U ASK FOR PILLOWS THEY NEVER EVER COME. THE ELEVATOR WAS BROKE 3X'S IN 24 HOURS, LONG WALK TO 8TH FLOOR. ROOM WAS NOT READY AT 3PM.......AND WE LEFT HOME AT 5AM........THE STAFF ONLY PRETENDS TO SPEAK ENGLISH....NOT WORTH THE MONEY.......SPEND A LITTLE MORE AT THE CAMINO REAL........

Great location. Nice rooms. Beautiful lobby. Friendly staff. Avoid restaurant couse it´s expensive and you´ll find much better deals outside on the zocalo. they have a great deck with a small pool. Parking fee is arround 6 USDDLLS per night

Very Nice and centrally located
Small hotel, Very Clean and very well located. The center of town is a beauty, recognized by the U.N. as a historic site to be preserved

Go to "el Sócalo" (center plaza), many restaurants - very nice. Beware: I was first offered a very dark, no view, room, even though I paid for upgrade. Did not accept. Then I was offered one that was a little better. Then a third one that was modern, bright and with a view. From the room you could see some of the 365 churches in Puebla, and the volcano with a snow top. You can walk to artisan shops, and cafe's.

Great value, super-close to the zocalo
The hotel was very nice. The lobby is beautiful, in the style of an old and elegant Puebla house. The rooms were clean and everything worked fine. Our room did not have a safe-deposit box, however. You could deposit your passport and other items on a safe-deposit at the reception. That's a second best option, and may not be available of the hotel is full, as they seem to have only a limited amount of safe-deposit boxes at the lobby. Everyone was very friendly, and the hotel was a block or two from the zocalo. Great location in a great city.

great location, elegant clean hotel
I attended a conference for some of the days and my husband relaxed and enjoyed the sights. Puebla is beautiful and clean--really a wonderful city,. the hotel was perfect for us. Choose a room with outside windows and view --definitely worth the extra price. Having a sparking clean, well located hotel made the trip perfect.
