Good Location
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was average and hot water was hard to come by, but location near the old city center was great. Never any concern for personal safety in this part of town.

craft and local street markets are open on weekends just a short walk to the east of the hotel location.

Questionable Service
We reserved two rooms which turned out to be very small and nowhere near as nice as the information on the website. When we complained they offered one large room which would comfortably accommodate all of us. I was not really happy with that arrangement but then the hotel said that they would give us a partcial rebate for the second room. That seemed like an acceptable arrangement but then when it was time to check out the hotel refused to provide the promised rebate. To my mind that is very questionable serivice. The hotel was not really bad for the price but I could not honestly recommend it to other if there were any other options.

Great charm and location
Located right on the Zocalo, so you can enjoy great food and entertainment within easy walking distance. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself is a gem with it´s history and charm. The rooms are clean and well appointed although a bit small. I loved it.

Short walk from hotel
Take the city bus tour from the zocalo. It is inexpensive and extremely interesting, You will enjoy the architecture, history and vibrancy of this wonderful city.
