Seventeen spacious condominiums are nestled among lush foliage that makes Maya Villa your own tropical oasis. The property is surrounded by Mayan art, handcrafted by the region's most talented Mayan artists. Enter trough the great Mayan arch, and find yourself in the midst of greenery, cascading waterfalls, and a sparkling heated pool made of jade-colored and gecko-shaped mosaic and glass that give it the name of "Jewel of Playa." Some of the penthouses offer amazing views of the Caribbean sea which is just half of a block away.
Located in the premier zone, the famous pedestrian 5th Avenue with its outdoor restaurants, boutique stores, cafes and bars is just around the corner.

Great Vacaton
Had a great time. Location perfect, close to the beach and 5th Ave but so quiet at night. Outdoor hot tub was well worth the extra money. Enjoyed the beach club and had a wonderful breakfast there daily.

The location of Maya Villa is wonderful. Quietly one block from any beach noise (only one block from the beach) and one block from the fun of great restaurants and shopping of Playa's Fifth Avenue. Kindness abounded in every staff member. Amenities were abundant. Wonderful breakfast right on the beach - again, total warmth and support from wait staff etc. Not to mention the jacuzzi and waterfall, full gym and great guys taking care of our chairs and umbrellas. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Location, Good Value
This is not a 5* resort with all the trimmings (which I must admit Im used to) but its actually a nice alternative to the whole hotel scene. The staff are very friendly, especially the front desk staff and on the whole efficient! The appartments (I had a 2 bed, 2 bath) are very spacious and clean. The gym is actually a real gym and has great facilities including classes. The beach club is OK, again staff nice and friendly but you cant access the sea from it as all the boats moor there, which was disappointing. For a good value vacation in a prime spot, I would definitely choose condo hotels.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Try the Cafe Tropica, looiks cheesy from the outside but the food is freshly cooked and good. I ate huevo a la mexicana every day!
