Grand Riviera Princess All Suites Resort and Spa All Inclusive

we had o.k. time.the water is beautiful,but a lot of rocks.need special shoes.

We stayed in Grand Riviera Princess from 10/20/2012-10/26/2012. We were with 2 kids: 2 y.o and 7 y.o. We had an amazing time there. The food was good. Ocean was warm but water in the pool was a little chilly. We will definitely go there again.

We could not have asked for a better resort to vacation at! Staff was wonderful. Always happy and so friendly! Not one complaint about the whole stay!

This was our third time at ths resort. First time i styed in swim up suite and the 2nd and 3rd Platinum with ocean view. Platinum is the way to go to get the best service including bed made and towels changed twice a day, free room service, a la carte lunches, easy reservations in platinum lounge for a la carte full service restaurants slippers, a bath robe, 3 bottles of liquor and refrigerator stock up each day. Its so worth the upgrade. Got towel art everyday and some amazing ones at that. Beach is beautifil, pools a little cool but ths resort is spotless, safe and clean and service is excellent. The shuttle company was Grey line and they were excellent also. Got a rose and water and could make a free call to the states. Will return again! And Flying nonstop is the way to go!

I read all the reviews...pages and pages. What I found was the hotel is perfectly kept up. Groomed beyond belief, pools shiney clean and they add lounge chairs all day long. Beach is pretty with soft sand but entering the water is rocky and tough with break water. The biggest complaint was the food and I am really easy to please here. Chicken nuggets were horrible, couldn't even eat the hamburger it was so bad and added every condiment we had available. Drinks are good and they really am to please. So all in all I would most recommend this hotel to the 20 to 30 year old crowd that like to party and drink and swim. Older folks....the platinum suites have no view at all but are really quiet and close to the beach accesses.

My wife and I just got back and would like to give our input. Pros - The hotel was beautifully landscaped and gives a tropical paradise look and feel that gave a very nice first impression. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of food chioces with 4 buffet restraunts open in 4 hours blocks for morning afternoon and evening. Very large pool wth swim up suites and swim up bars. All Alcohol is included and to our suprise were top brands like Johnny Walker scotch ad Corona Beer. With so many bars in the hotel you will not have a problem finding a drink. Cons - Too much walking, the hotel is built out not up so it is a good 15 min walk from lobby to the room. It doesnt sound like a lot but you will end up walking that several times a day in the hot weather(my bad back was pretty sore by end of week). The food taste was just ok and It seemed like they recycled the food into different dishes and served at other meals. Conclusion - If your the partying type then I would recommend this hotel to you as the pool and beach party's were great. If your Handicapped, have a bad back, legs, I would find another hotel.

Hotel was spectacular, immaculate, and great service. Stayed over two weeks and food continued to impress. Bar service was good and staff very pleasant, the beach has to be one of the best! Only down side, was fighting the mosquitoes and no see ums flies. would return again.

IT WAS OUR 2ND TIME THERE. ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL! THE BEACH IS BEAUTFUL, ALOT OF ACTIVITIES GOING ON. POOLS EVERYWHERE. ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WOULD SUGGEST YOU CHECK OUT THE TAULM PACKAGE WITH JEEP RIDE,ZIP LINE AND CANOEING..TIME OF OUR LIVES. THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP EVER FOR US!! WE TRAVEL 2XS A YEAR AND THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST BY FAR!! TAKING A GROUP OF OUR FRIENDS NEXT AUGUST!!

The hotel is quite overwhelming. It was great that it was large but the downfall was that we had to walk about 10 - 15 minutes from the lobby or the restaurants to get back to our room. There was plenty of areas to swim which was great! You did not feel like you were on top of one another because there were different spots throughout. The beach and pools were beautiful. The not so good side of the hotel was that there were tiny insects in the room. The jacuzzi was dirty, with some stains that I guess they could not remove. One night two baby lizards got into our room and I had to call the front desk to get someone to remove them. However, even with that the bed was comfy, the room and bathroom was a good size. Overall my experience at the Grand Riviera Princess was very good. The staff was always pleasant, I even got upgraded and the front desk person was very nice and accommodating. My recommendation to improve the hotel experience would be to get more housekeepers to clean better. I know the place is huge so maybe they don't have enough help. The food was mediocre. The restaurants to me were not 4 stars. I think they were about 3 stars (edible but no real WOW factor).
