Eurostars Hacienda Vista Real - Playa del Carmen

The hotel is situated in the middle of a championship golf course which was the prime reason for my vacation. The second reason was to have a quiet, relaxing stay away from the main party centers. There was an added bonus to the hotel being in a quiet area, the local wildlife also enjoyed it. There were Coati Mundi that visit in the evening with Gecko's and numerous types of birds singing their songs. Very cool. The only drawback, possibly due to the time I went, was no food or drink service after 3pm. I dealt with that without a problem thanks to the helpful front desk staff. Over-all, WONDERFUL!!!

This hote was perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms were clean and charming ours had a whirlpool tub that was an extra bonus. The staff was helpfull. The breakfast was included and was a great suprise. Will be coming back again soon. Carrie MN

Incredible rooms and suites. Wonderful staff and attention especially from Hotel Manager [...]. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Playa del Carmen and wish to go back to this hotel for many years to come! We spent the second week of our honeymoon here and could not have picked a better location. Rooms are quiet, peaceful, relaxing, magestic! Thank you also to [...] for making our stay unforgettable!!!!

Surprising cosy hotel, for whom who like A quiet hideway. Not 5 star rooms but enough to be comfortable, view of the golf, and almost a jungle, with so many birds and nice surrounding. Personnal is very friendly and will do everything they could to help you. WE walk everyday to the beach club(about half an hour) and back at night.This was our exercice of the day. At night we took a taxi to go out on the main street for a nice dinner. Real vacation whitout the fuss and noise of Playa Del Carmen. We recommend it to people who prefer the walk to the noise (or you can rent a bike, car or taxi )

This is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing time. We absolutely loved it. The hotel is extremely luxurious in a rustic-mexican way. Do not miss going to "los Cenotes" and, if you can, catch a sailing boat, enjoy a sea you'll wont find anywhere else! The hotel's breakfast is very complete and you can also enjoy it inside the pool benches. We went in March-April. I heard that from May till August the heat is terrible. The only bad part is that you need a car to go to the beach, or walk more than a half hour going and another coming back, under the sun, with your towels and everything is not that fun... Perfect for a family meeting.

The hotel room was lovely with a nice kitchen and large refrigerator. The breakfast was very good and enjoyable. The golf course is beautiful as a back drop to the hotel. However, the hotel is not on a beach. It is a 15-20 minute walk to town, which isn't bad, but is a bit annoying if you are going 2x's a day to hit the beach and then have dinner later in the evening. If you want to play golf on the course, it is a 20 minute walk to the entrance of the club house in 80-100 degree weather. We were told that there was no pickup service even though the clubhouse was directly across the course from the hotel. For those people who choose to stay here I recommend renting a car or planning on hiring taxi services.

Hotel was nice food was ok it was very pretty there and relaxing would stay again

The hotel is very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly, the only thing is that this hotel is not close to beach..

Clean rooms, friendly personnel and good breakfast. need to rent car or have taxis take you to playa del carmen. I can recommend this hotel. could do with a bar or a restaurant (offers nothing other than b/fast, really)

The hotel is away from the main beach area and is located in the an adjacent neighborhood. It is about 10-15min very pleasant, beautiful, and safe walk into the center of town (the neighborhood seemed like the beverly hills of playa del carmen). You feel like you are walking into a mayan temple when you get there. The pool and breakfast area overlooks the lake of the local golf course. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only drawbacks had to do with us being there during the off season. As such, the spa, jacuzzi, and restaurant were closed. They did have a great breakfast buffet included in the room price and the room had a jacuzzi tub which more than made up for the one being closed. They were also doing maintenance and repairs on several areas but it never interfered with our stay. They have an affiliation granting you free entry to the playa indigo beach club in the center of town where you can lounge and have drinks on the sand. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back here to see what it's like during the regular season.
