Encanto Paseo del Sol is located in the heart of Playacar, within walking distance of many attractions; the Playacar Golf Club with its professional 18-hole course designed by Robert Von Hagge, the amazing bird sanctuary of Xaman Ha, a few Mayan ruins and Playa del Carmen's world-famous "Quinta Avenida".

The Cancun International Airport is located 50 minutes away, and most of the Riviera Maya's main sites and attractions are located nearby. Could've been better... or worse

First room given was a mess... a/c units inoperable, dirty, various broken items... stay away from 305... second room was much better despite first floor. Place is clean, relatively easy to get to town... Beach access was a disaster... Overall was pleasant because the staff addressed the issues but i most likely won't go back. Playacar in general is just not my cup of tea. For the price, the second room was functionally what i expected... so I would probably recommend to a friend... but I would caveat it by saying that i wouldn't stay in Playacar
