Aventura Spa Palace All Inclusive - Adults Only

Everyone was helpful, curtious, politely, friendly, there's nothing bad to say It was the best trip ever they couldn't have been more helpful and very respectable.Room service always quick, questions answer immediately and kept informed of everything.

My husband and I loved the experience. We were able to enjoy the great food in a variety of included restaurants, and a variety of activities (kayaking, bicycling, nightly shows, spa, dancing, gym, shopping). The service is great. There are several options in trips/adventures near the resort.

It was wonderful I couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

The Mayan staff is excellent, warm and friendly. My only bad experience is how aggressively timeshares are pushed. Beware the airport--officials push for "opportunities"--keep walking and ignore buzzwords like [...] which are used to steer you towards something other than your actual [...] reservation. At the hotel, unless you're actually interested in a timeshare, skip the "hotel tour", ignore the rep's snide comments after you turn them down, then enjoy why you actually came.

We had a wonderful time. The people were friendly, the rooms and grounds were immaculate, and service was 1st rate. We took a horseback ride on the beach and several trips in to Playa Del Carmen. The only "negative" was that the lunch offerings were minimal...only 1 restraunt open in each side of the resort. Spa treaments (facial, pedicure, massage) were top of the line.

This was the most wonderful vacation we have ever taken. We went snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins. Both were excellent and I would highly recommend. The Adventura spa resort was top class and if we can ever afford to return we definitely will. Two thumbs up!!!

We have been in this area 4 or 5 times and this is by far the best experience we have had. We took advantage of the trips provided by the hotel and they were excellent, their ground transportation is superior, the meals, facilities and people were grand in every manner.

Staff waited on us head over heels! It's pure luxury. Each room has a mini bar w/4 complimentary bottles, a mini fridge stocked daily with bottled water, select beers, & soda, a whirlpool hottub steps from the bed, a hammock on the balcony, a flat screen lcd tv, & a digital safe. All inclusive amenities/services were 1st class. Being able to sit down for dinner & leave at our convenience without asking for a check, was definately a perk. Unfortunately, this resort does not have direct access to the ocean front, but it does have a lagoon/reef where we snorkled & kayaked at no charge! Dolphin Discovery swim w/ the dolphins is a 5 minute drive away. Couples massage was amazing! Don't miss out on the monkey tour or the Coco Bongo shows right on site!

We could not have enjoyed ourself more! The service was EXCEPTIONAL! We did the all inclusive which in our opinion is the only way to go now. Drinks were bottomless and of good quality. The food was outstanding. [...] The location was beautiful. We didn't want to be in the heart of Cancun and for us it was a good choice. The only drawback was the constant pressure to become a member/timeshare. I do realize that this is their livelihood but we only had 3 real days to enjoy our time and one day was spent dealing wtih the constant back and forth dealings with these people. Frustrating but if you are planning a trip to Maya Riviera and are worried about where to stay... this place is perfect. We arrived late on Monday nite and they were waiting for us with moist towels and cold cocktails. Great way to start our trip and they ended it much the same way. Perfect trip!!

We stayed 7 days and did 2 excursions plus a trip to Playa del Carmen Highly recommend both the Tulum/Xpa-Ha trip and the Zip-line adventure. On the Zip-line plan to spend about $50 per person to do something extra. We did the ATV ride...was great. I am deathly afraid of heights but was not at all afraid on the Zip-line. Wear comfortable shoes to Tulum - its hot and there is a lot of walking. Bring a bottle of water from the hotel and don't bother with the bug spray. They try to sell bug spray to everyone but we took another travelers advice and didn't get it, and never even saw a bug. The Spa is amazing. We booked massages throughout the week. I also got a facial and a deluxe manicure/pedicure. Be sure to schedule a day of nothing to do so you have time to enjoy the pool and poolside ativities.
