Relaxing Atmosphere
This is a nice place to go if you do not require a beach. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service staff are friendly. The rooms are small and the pool closed early. No outside hot tub. The concierge and sales staff were very friendly upon our arrival but we did notice a change in the way we were treated once they could not sell us on a membership. The $1500 credits are enticing, but don't get too caught up on them. The spa was so booked it was difficult to get appointments and there are restrictions on what you can use the credits toward. Only 1 small area in the silver jewelry store and the other jewelry store was way out of our price range. All in all it is a nice place, but you could get just as nice accommodations for less money. We booked here because our friends we traveled with were members.

New Year's Stay
Spend 3 nights at the Aventura Spa over New Year and truly enjoy it. The Dinner and show was outstanding, and New Year's day brunch delicious. The Gym and SPA are also very complete, and the natural pools with seawater makes you relax fully.

Nice resort, but...
The resort credit of $1500 has too many exclusions, and trying to book any of the SPA treatments and excursions wasted many HOURS of our time. The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly.

I went to this resort on my honeymoon.
I went to this resort on my honeymoon. This was our first time visiting this resort and will definitely not be our last (we are already making plans to come again on our 1-year anniversary). The staff was amazing. They were friendly and went above and beyond on any request we had. The food was buffet style during the breakfast and lunch menus; however, the food also looked fresh and tasted phenomenal. The dinner menu at each of the seven on site restaurants was well prepared and as tasty.

So full of good food, I might explode!
My new husband and I went here for a week long honeymoon and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The resort was beautiful and quiet and relaxing and....aaah! After months of wedding planning this was the perfect destination to just relax and let our stress melt away. We got a $1500 credit for booking a week at the Adventura Spa Palace which was incredible. We got "free" massages and sea weed wraps, a lobster dinner, swimming with dolphins, Kodak photos, wine and the like all with our credit. That was probably the best part! I have to say that although I'm a teacher and I love kids, it was SO nice to not have them around. We got lounge and cuddle and kiss (respectfully, of course) without feeling conspicuous...I mean, we were on our Honeymoon, c'mon! That was a beautiful thing. The only downside was the room service food. While the menu looked great, the food was cold when it got to us and the desserts were soggy and tasteless. Overall, we had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend this resort to other couples!

Just Ok
So we chose this hotel bc of the resort credit they were offering which was nice but they just jacked up the prices on all the things you could do. We decided to do a massage cost 545 of our 1500 credit, a romantic dinner 380 bucks and not worth more than 50 - sad part is this was the best food we had our entire stay,[...]- our guide sucked!, and snorkeling which we were told was covered by the resort credits but we would have to pay 20 dollars for transportation. Well on checkout we had a huge bill and were charged for our snorkeling which we were told was included so the front desk made us walk to another area where they book all the excursions because they cant settle bills at the checkout desk but can take my money. When we went to complain it was like talking to a brick wall they didnt understand what we were saying and the lady who booked the trip for us lied right to our face and said " I would never have told you it was included" we wouldnt have done any snorkeling if it wasnt included. Never got our money back. All in all resort is ok. Very large and felt like there was not much to do. My husband and I got sick of the food after the 3rd day of our week stay and we both got literally sick from this place for the last 3 days of our trip. Beware of the food and drinks.

Be careful what you eat and drink so you dont end up sick. Lots of the fish they serve raw and I am wondering if the ice cubes were from unfiltered water.

AMAZING!!!
It was awesome. When we signed up we were given a $1500 credit that we were able to use towards the spa, lobster romantic dinner for 2 and swimming with the dolphins. This made our honeymoon everything we always imagined. It was so relaxing and everyone was so sweet and catering. We have stayed in Mexico before but this place was by far the nicest. We cant wait to book for our 1 year anniversary!

I have stayed at many resorts throughout mexico and the caribean and i have to say the staff at this resort is by far the friendliest I have come across. we had some issues with the A/C not working (the fan motor was shot). The whole unit was repaired in less than 1 hour with a smile. Our bed was very hard, and we asked for a pad; the pad came and it was still pretty hard; they gave us 3 more and that did the trick. We took one of the tours covered by the $1500 (Coba) which was great to see and you can climb to the top of the pyramid (unlike Chichenitza). The spa was a great day breaker too - spent most of our resport dollars there. all in all, a great, relaxing trip with an impeccable staff.
