The elegant RIU Palace Pacifico All Inclusive Resort offers a total vacation experience near Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's Pacific coast. Nice place for rest
RIU Palace Pacifico is nice place for rest. This is new and comfortable facility for everybody. Our family had vacation in this resort and very satisfied.Food, service and staff were excelent. I recommended this resort for my friends.

We had a great time at the RIU Palace
We had a great family vacation at the RIU Palace Pacifico. We spent every day by the pool/beach and couldn't have been happier. If you're looking to go into town, this hotel seemed a little off the beaten path but we weren't planning on leaving so it was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our one-year-old with us and they were all very interested in her well being and making sure we had everything we needed i.e. crib, high chairs at meals, water by the pool, etc. One of us would put her down for a nap in our room each day and sit on the balcony reading with an ocean view while she slept. Perfect! This was our second stay at a RIU Palace in Mexico (stayed in Cancun in 2007) and we would definitely go back again!

You can e-mail the hotel in advance to make restaurant reservations at one of the four specialty restaurants. They seem to fill up quickly but also have quite a few no-shows so a few times we were able to get in when we showed up right when they were seating people.

Excellent Acommodations
Food was very good and all personnel helpful and friendly. It would have been nice if the reservation restaurants were more accessible and varied their menus somewhat. It was impossible to get into them if you didn't reserve 4-5 days in advance. So, on a week long stay we couldn't get into 2 out of 3 of them. We were only a party of 2. The main buffet restaurant was quite good though with many choices. Beach was nice and had kayaks and hobie cat type sailboats available for hotel guests. Taking the off site Adventure Tours was not easily arranged even though booked in advance of arrival. Greyline was not responsive and totally inflexible. I would never book anything through Greyline again. They operate in the hotel so I hold the hotel responsible for their poor service. The hotel would not assist in getting better service from them and treated it as if they had no connection to them. I did enjoy the Adventure Tours I went on once I got to them. There wasn't really anything to do in the town that I could find.

Great Resort
This is a great hotel. I like taking pictures and this place has a lot of picture perfect spots. The hotel is very clean and the lobby of this hotel is really nice. Hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. The room is also great. I booked for an ocean view room and initially family was disappointed because the only ocean view available was on the 3rd level of the hotel (which is really 1st level). But I just requested for a different room the next day and they were able to accomodate the request and that really made our vacation more exciting. This hotel also offers a lot of entertainment day and night. The only think i just dont like is the themed restaurants reservation. they have 4 themed restaurants but i only was able to book 1 in our 5 days stay there. It is always fully booked. So if you want to eat in their themed restaurants do it right before you get your room number or else it will be too late. Overall, I recommend this resort. All the people who saw our pictures said that the resort is really nice.

A Maaahvelous Dancer
Spectacular Service
The staff met our every need. They were eager to give us information and suggestions. When we said "thank you" to something, they often commented "It is my pleasure to serve you." Everyone in our party felt they said that with true sincerity. We had a marvelous time.

Everything was just perfect, there is no any complains whatsoever. The staff is friendly, helpfull. Service was excellent without demending the tips.

A travelling couple
Nice new hotel with great service
The hotel was great, no complains at all.The only thing is that while I ordered the hotel, it has been said that we have got 20% spa discount. When we printed out confimation the discount was missing. Could you please explain if we had it or not?Can you also send me an e-mail to the hotel - wew forgot a nice dress in our room and looking for the possibilities to get it back.
