The hotel was beautiful. Next to the actual hotel is an art exhibit and every room is decorated with paintings of different artists that have visited their exhibit. The location is walking distance to the cathedral, museums, restaurants, and the
local theater. The staff is friendly and the rooms were very well kept.

I would highly recommend the Lu Cocina Michoacana restaurant located in the center near the Cathedral. The food is a fusion of traditional Mexican food with the regional food of the state of Michoacan.
