On business or for pleasure, come and experience the recently renovated Best Western Madero Monterrey, a comfortable and peaceful hotel located in downtown Monterrey. We are conveniently located near Fundidora Park, where you will find Cintermex , Arena Monterrey, Auditorio Coca-Cola and the Race Track Cart Series. For the business traveler we are only minutes from Cervecería Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, Cigarrera La Moderna, Vitro and Hylsa.

Poor Choice for Foreign Travellers

The hotel is in a horrible area not meant for foreign travelers. The entire area is filthy and not safe to walk around in at night. The rooms have central air-conditioning that can only be controlled by the hotel staff and they frequently turn it off, especially at night. I had to call several times for them to turn it on. The beds have worn out mattresses that gave me terrible back and neck aches. Of the two computers available for complimentary internet, only one was working and 99% of the time it was occupied by someone who would use if for several hours. Overall I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I have been in this industry for 25 years and must say that this was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had...Don't go, especially if you are a foreigner!!

My review of Best Western Madero Monterrey

There's no parking and no elevators, be sure first if the shower has hot water and get some extra bottled water, if you go for a walk or shopping check if your room hasn't been assigned to other guess, be prepare to ask for extra towels in the morning.
