Good Hotel
We stayed last year and decided to stay again....We found the room a bit more run down after a year , but its the best bed I have slept in one year since I went..... Its not close to Mex city airport but its close enough to the Anthropology museums and surroundings, also Polanco , a very trendy suburb with nice restaurantes and shops..... La marquesa is close by towards Toluca where u can experience real mexican country style food .

A hotel NOT in Mexico City!
This hotel ONLY works for people doing business at the Santa Fe zone. But if you have plans to see Mexico City, this is NOT the hotel you want. It is a very expensive hotel, located way off Mexico City. it is simply not worth it. They shouldn't charge more than 65 dollars per night. If you stay here, be prepared to deal with high taxi fares and traffic, traffic, traffic if you MUST go to the city.

this is a clean, efficient hotel with modern design and amenities. The staff is very friendly and the food and beverage operation good but not aspiring to be overly impressive or expensive.

Plus and minus
Right next to this hotel they are building huge skyscrapers. Therefore tremendous noise. The rooms have WIFI but the internet system of this hotel is totally inadequate. Either the connection to the internet is super slow or not working at all.

Terrible People Skills
The Novotel Sante Fe Mexico is in a good location for business as that is what I was there for. The treatment I would get from some of the staff at the breakfast was absolutely terrible every morning. We decided to leave 2 days early just to get away from the hassles and again very poor service at the front desk. I will be travelling to Mexico many times in the next few years as I am setting up a business there I WILL NOT STAY IN THE NOVOTEL THERE OR ANYWHERE ELSE.
