Old fashionned,nice staff, but...

We tried this hotel part of the Leading Hotels of the world. It has not too much in common with the others! If you want to attend the pool, you have to pay 17$ Us a day. The restaurant is nice but the food is like in a dinner at night! For sure you are on the Paseo de la Reforma, the main street of Mexico. But we prefer Polanco for dinning and shopping.

Great location,close to everything.

Close to shopping & Zona Rosa for dining.Four of us took a taxi to the Pyramids and back for about sixty US dollars. Very reasonable. We used to go to the Formula 1 races years ago and never were able to go sight seeing until now. Wonderful!!

Best 4 star value in Reforma!

The Marquis is in a great location across the street from the Four Seasons and about 50 yards from the new St. Regis which are both 5-star properties. At the Marquis Reforma, I get the 5-star treatment and spacious rooms for much less than either of the aforementioned properties (I've stayed at the others when the Marquis is sold out). Comparatively, the Marquis offers larger rooms, fantastic services and amenities, and a very friendly helpful staff. There is SO much more to do in Reforma than, say, other districts. The hotel is walking distance to a newer shopping mall and, of course, Chapultepec Park which has museums and all sorts of various activities.

Good hotel, well located

The location on the Reforma, a short walk from Chapultepec Park is ideal, as the area is relatively quiet and you are near the Condessa/Roma, Polanco, and Zona Rosa neighborhoods. The historical center is a longer walk (45-60 minute) walk, but frequent buses on the Reforma will take you quickly to the Alameda. The hotel is a good 4-star property, with attentive service, good business center, excellent restaurant (los Canarios), and nice (if somewhat antiquated) rooms. If you can afford or get a good deal at the 5-star+ Four Seasons across the street, you should prefer it.

The well-known Museo Antropologico is a must. Less known but also well worth a visit is the Museum of Modern Art, also in Chapultepec Park.

Business Trip

When in Mexico DF usually i stay at Nikko Hotel or Marquis Reforma. The Nikko Hotel is located in a better area, walking distance from nice bar and restaurant but the Marquis Reforma except for the location (which is very good but not walking distance from Polanco Bar and Restaurant) is very nice, clean room and awesome staff and the rate is in my opinion unbeatable for the level of the hotel. Nice gym. I definitely suggest this hotel for a business trip.

Great Location nice Place

On the Reforma a great location and quite good place to stay. restaurants are good but the Bar needs some help. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is undergoing some refurbishing so some areas will improve. Overall a reasonable place to stay with lost around or within walking distance.

Oversold

It´s a nice hotel but it´s over priced for it´s real category. Restaurant Los Canarios is a good place to eat, good sights and sounds and it´s not expensive. Location is very good. Sunday night you have to eat at the bar because Los Canarios closes early. If you get a discounted rate, it is a good choice.
