Experience the glory of Mexico City at De Cortes Boutique Hotel, established in a colonial building that dates to 1620. A former monk guest lodging remodeled by Augustine friars in 1780, the hotel dates to 1943 and was modernized in 2005. Super-stylish guest rooms and modern amenities pair with exquisite rustic elements throughout the hotel, including a classic central courtyard, Old-World library, Colonial-artwork gallery and sleek rooftop/attic lounge bar. De Cortes also offers a restaurant, rooftop bar, fitness center and business services.
Location
De Cortes Boutique Hotel is in Mexico City, less than 8 miles (12 km) from the airport. The hotel is near Alameda Central, one of the oldest public spaces in Mexico City, and the many 17th-century buildings of the historic district.

Understated opulence sets the tone at De Cortes Hotel's serene guest rooms and suites. Each includes free Wi-Fi, a 40-inch LCD cable TV, CD/DVD player, coffee-maker, mini-bar, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and air conditioning. Extra perks come with cotton bathrobes, wake-up service and upscale bathroom amenities. Suites deliver even more
Property features
Daily breakfast is included in every stay at De Cortes. The hotel's restaurant, 1620, offers a blend of Mexican and Spanish Cuisine. Notice the hotel's public areas, too, and the authentic art gallery with original paintings from the colonial period, 18th century sculptures and 19th century pieces. a stylish base to explore Mexico City

A colonial Boutique Hotel (few rooms, personal ambiance) close to the historical city center and next to a subway station. Ours suites were spacious with a stylish touch. Staff was very friendly. Choice in restaurant was limited. Rooms towards street can be noisy. Cool (in both senses) lounge on the roof. No pool.
