Mexico City Duo
Great location
This hotel is safe, clean and conveniently located near the Centro of Mexico, but it is nothing exciting. There are many families that stay at this hotel. It is fairly priced when compared to similar hotels in the neighborhood. The decor is dated and the rooms are showing some wear. There is no air conditioning. Rooms facing the street are noisy due to traffic but the staff will accommodate your requests for a room change when possible. The biggest issue was with the mattress, which was an old spring-type that had seen far better days but was most likely never very comfortable. I couldn't take it any more after two nights, so I spent a little more money to stay at a far nicer hotel right off of Parque Alameda for the remainder of my time in Mexico City.

Short walk from hotel
Mexico City's version of China Town is a few blocks away and it is a very interesting experience to walk through and browse the shops! The Chinese food is different than what Americans expect at Chinese restaurants, but it is fun to explore.
