Elegant hotel combines history with modern amenities

Very good central location in

Very good central location in historic district. Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable. Period style with many original features; but with good modern standard. Price good for location, but does not include breakfast - breakfast is pricey but comes as an all-you-can-eat buffet - so can serve for lunch as well! Would recommend.

Great place to stay

The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was really good and the price for a room was absolutely great towards the class and location of this building. The only negative is that traffic can be hell here and getting to or from the hotel might be a little cumbersome, but with the right spirit and mindset this is not a serious obstacle. This was my first time in this hotel and it was great.

Impressive historically, not as hotel

Uncommunicative and unfriendly front desk staff; no listing of services available; free internet did not work; room was large, but poorly lit; request for change in rooms ignored; toilet did not flush properly; room remained poorly vacuuumed throughout visit.
