Short-term stay
The concierge, Ariel, is a real sweetie and so helpful. All staff were great and particularly the cleaning lady for my room 308. The beds were great and the sheets very soft. The hotel is right there in Zona Rosa. The night lift was pumping and police presence was heavy which is a good thing as you felt safe walking around at night.

delightful 4 days in mexico
The hotel is old fashioned (was built in 1907) and has, in many aspects, the feeling of a european hotel. Specially the Lobby, and the Bar. The Terraza (terrace) which serves as dining room, is quite interesting, with baroque columns, and color glass windows. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable. And the staff is correct in their treatment of guests.

Stately and well-appointed
I really enjoyed my stay here. Originally it was to be for one night and I extended it for two more despite a major mishap. The first night I arrived, the hotel was full and I was escorted to a comparable sister hotel (and upgraded to a junior suite). I was therefore a little wary of returning the next day, but the staff couldn't have been nicer. They more than made up for the inconvenience of moving. The hotel feels grand and stately, and it offers a wonderful American breakfast in a most pleasant atrium. I would stay here again.

What can I say ?Absolutely beautiful, clean hotel very convenient location very courteous staff (even though check-out is at 12 pm.they let us keep the room till 5;00 because our flight was at 8;00 at no charge)! Quiet and Secure
The nostalgic hotel is elegant throughout with fresh-cut flowers in the lobby and rose petals afloat in the fountain. Rooms are a bit small, but they have good beds, a table and chairs and a safe. The location is two or three blocks from east/west and north/south arteries, served by bus, metrobus and subway, where 5 pesos will take you to Chapultepec, Alameda Central, San Angel, or the end of the line. It's far easier to maneuver from Hotel Geneve than it is from the noisy, hectic Zocalo.
