Excellent
Of course it is not the most luxurious hotel.... However, great staff, great location... Strongly recommend. Bit noisy because of the street traffic... Just ask for a room on the other side of the Avenida....;)

No sleep in Mexico
We were given a room with a window by the main street, which was so loud with traffic noise, we hardly got a wink of sleep. Woke up tired. The vault inside our room for personal keepsakes, was broken, they said they would fix, but never did. No temperature controls for heat in room. Other than that, the room was clean and had plenty of hot water.

Not a good value for your money...
[...], the hotel is located close to the Alameda, which is ok, but it is not a great location if you are on foot. Last year I stayed at another hotel in Roma/Zona-Rosa for 10 bucks more but the hotel was in a place where you could walk around with no problem. This one is located ok but the are a is not (or it does not feels) as nice/safe, plus you need to walk a lot or taxi to go to places to eat/drink/etc.My room was in the 4th floor and I had to turn on the air conditioning all night - which was noisy - to cover for the noise of the street and other rooms, but at least it was a constant-noise, which is ok for sleep ;) .. street and neighbors are not so good.I had the room with breakfast, and try to eat croissants and coffee which were not good, the rest of the food, which was plenty, seem good - at least many people were eating it, and probably enjoying it - but I don't like to eat too much for breakfast so I did not try it... but croissants were probably from the day before, and I didn't try much else. So, I would not say this was a good hotel/experience. I normally stay in budget hotels as I prefer to spend my money in everything else, as the only thing I do in hotels is sleep... so for less money this would have been ok. For what it was cost (I paid $45 each night) I think it was overpriced... It was not a bad bad experience, for less money I would stay here again, as I'm not too picky, but for this money (or a little bit more) I could have done better.
