Overrated

The best thing I liked is the steam room. I didnt really like the rooms they are ordinary rooms.Nothing luxury about it. It took a long time for me to even get checked in. There was no authentic "service with a smile". I would not go there again.

Hilton Mexico City Reforma - Watch out before you book...!!

I had booked three nights at this so called luxurious hotel for my mother who was attending a conference in Mexico City. No doubt the Hilton brand reflected on the cleanliness, comfort etc. However, one thing that's absolutely shocking and hard to believe is that, this very Hilton brand hotel does not provide free Wi-Fi internet for it's customers and the room rent per night was no cheap either....$120 bucks! You got to be kidding me.....to charge for frikkin internet service too????? Absolute ridiculous.....I mean it. I have got free Wi-Fi internet for petty and cheap places such as Motel 6, Comfort Inn, Red Roof Inn and the like....why NOT @ Hilton???? Another bummer......this Hilton Hotel does not provide courtesy shuttle to and from airport. Sucks for the money they charge! Think before you spend your hard earned bucks on this hotel.

A Bit Fancy But You Can't Beat The Location

This is a very business-oriented hotel so as a tourist, I frequently felt underdressed. However, the staff couldn't have been nicer and our mode of dress did not seem to diminish the hospitality with which we were received. Rooms were large, beds comfortable, nice towels/pillows and good sound proofing. Very occasional pipe rattling and a vague smell of mold in both bathrooms, however. All restaurants were very, very good. The pool was FANTASTIC - saline, not chlorine and very therapeutic after lots of walking. No free wi-fi in the room (it is available for a fee) but there are 4 high speed connected computers in the lobby for guest use; we never had to wait to use them. We were within walking distance of many points of interest. Security was tight at the hotel and in the immediate area which made my mom feel more at ease. Concierge arranged two day-long outings for us. While my husband and I usually "rough it" a little more when we travel, this place made everything super easy and gave my 70+-years-young mother the comfort and security that she needed to fully enjoy the trip. All staff we encountered spoke anywhere from "some" to very good English. Communication was never a problem.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

DEFINITELY go see Ballet Folklorico de Amalia Hernandez at Palacio de Bellas Artes. Sunday and Wednesdays. You can buy tickets in the lobby of the Palacio in advance and online (it is a Ticketmaster house). The Palacio theatre is a few beautiful blocks along/through the Alameda Park from the hotel.

Hilton Mexico City REforma

The whole hotel is non-smoking and there is a charge if smoking is detected during your stay. I found the consierge staff to be very helpful and friendly when arranging tours of the city's attractions.

They will charge for everything. Bottel of water, parking etc., the restaurants very expensive. If you wanted to go to eat something wil have to ask for another restaurant.
