Best location, best service, best food
I do enjoy my travels to Mexico City but my stay at EuroStar was very special because the staff was so friendly & professional. Breakfast was sensational everyday..Sorry I had to leave. Zona Rosa is fun & party ready. Great shopping, high end as well as a next door Plaza La Rosa. Lots of Art & great restaurants..must visit Don Chon's for Prehispanic food & drinks.

Short walk from hotel
Mercado Insurgentes: Ask for Rafael Torres @ Celina for fine silver @ Mercado prices. Go all the way to the back to eat fresh, incredible home cooking style from a dozen little shops. Take their TouriBus for 3 hrs. of narrated city tour for 140.00 pesos. Start with the North, next day do the South tour. You can get off & get back on. Great deal ,.. Mexico City was very safe , clean & friendly.

Great bargain, great breakfast!
A nice-sized (30 rooms?) very personal hotel in a great, gay-friendly neighborhood. It is close to the metro and bus service and everything you need - shops, restaurants, convenience stores - is right there. I like to eat on the cheap so it was great the room included a fridge, coffee pot and microwave. A substantial breakfast buffet is included and open until 11am, so I generally ate only this and one other meal prepared simply in my room from fresh groceries available from local shops and vendors.

In the Zona
This fairly small hotel is situated right in the heart of the Zona Rosa, only a few meters from dozens of restaurants and bars, and a block from an excellent market. The room I had was a suit - I have yet to find a hotel which offers more room - and was very comfortable. The bathroom and toiletries were average, the bed huge, the living room comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was good, though the selection was limited. The best thing about this hotel though is its position. If you are not wanting to stay in the Centro Historico, this is the perfect place. The restaurants are slightly pricier but there is a much better selection, and the surrounds are very pleasant and safe. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, and a shopping mall with cinema within five minutes walk. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, but is very pleasant.

Comfortable stay in la Zona Rosa
This was my second time staying at this property in less than four months. Service is great! Friendly staff, very clean property and convenient to all areas of the city. One suggestion, make sure you inspect the entire room before you unpack. I unpacked and settled in and later realized that a shower door was missing. Had to move to an entirely different room, but the staff was courteous.

BIG SUITES/BOTIQUE HOTEL FRIENDLY STAFF
The Zona Rosa has changed in the last 5 years, for the worse. I have had offices in the area since 1992 and could walk the streets in the late night hours and feel relatively safe. No longer the case. Still, if you need a central location to downtown, shops and local the ZR is still happening. The Eurostar is a nice 'botique' hotel offering 60 suites that are clean (with the exception of my carpet)large (3 seperate areas)mini bar, wet bar, microwave, 2 TV's. The staff was very courteous and, helpfully, spoke English. I would stay there again, and fully intend to do so on any business trip which requires me being centrally located.

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
The taxi's at the hotel are larger, clean, safe and very reasonable. Example: the trip to the airport was only 170 Pesos--about $13 US rather than the normal $25 which you pay the airport taxis.

Worth your money with glitches!
All the rooms are suites. They are clean and spacious, with a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Free wireless internet. Breakfast is included but, not for me. It is centrally located in Zona Rosa. I stay here often for business and always feel safe. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Best deal you'll ever get in Zona Rosa
I was really skeptical about this place because the price was cheap and location was too good to be true. Well it's true, it was one of the few perfect hotel stays I've ever had. It is literally in the heart of the Zona Rosa, the suites were huge (not use to this much space coming from NYC) and the staff provided first class service. I seriously thought I was at the four seasons. I actually enjoyed it so much, I'm returnin next week for a longer stay!

Short walk from hotel
In less than 5 minutes of walking you will reach all of Zona Rosa's best clubs, bars and restaurants. Forget about the other hotels that claim "close to...", this is the it spot, you are in the middle of it all.
