With 11 Suites with patio views and 6 Master Suites with street view balconies, the hotel has been settled in one of the most antique residences that currently maintain such particular XVII century style.
Known as the "Palacio de los Condes de Miravalle", the red volcanic rock walls, the multiple doors and window quarry frames and the handmade cement tiles, along with the magnificent patios and a spectacular stone-forge staircase provide the building the unique flavor of the Mexican vice regal style.
The design concept of the rooms by Cherem-Serrano architectural firm, comes from the need of maintaining the essence of the original materials as wood beams, ribbed vaults for the ceilings, clay tiles for the floors living together with the new and raw materials as the basalt floors and the red brick lattice for bathrooms partitions, achieving harmony between them.

Note: Airport transfer and valet parking are available with an extra charge. Hotel also provides the facility of Lobby and reception.

Disappointed

Nice hotel with nice restaurants. STAFF very disappointing, not nice at all!! Horrible customer service!!! It would be a shame to see this hotel go out of business because of poor management.

Nice hotel in historic center

The hotel is located in a great location for the historic center. There is a nice rooftop terrace bar and pool, partially covered, and not very well advertised to tourists so pleasantly quiet during the week and busy with locals on the weekend. The rooms come with ear plugs in case you try to go to bed early on the weekend as the roof top bar can be loud. Our bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast menu. Pleasant and helpful staff. We will be back. Wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

Perfect couples retreat!

We stayed here on Sep. 15th for the Mexican Independence celebration. The hotel is a perfect location for those wanting to be close to Mexico City's Down Town or "Zocalo". The hotel staff were friendly. Although checkin is at 3:00 we arrived at 4:00. Unfortunately the room was still not ready. The staff put us in the lobby to wait and provided free drinks while we waited for our room to be ready... We stayed in the Revolutionary Suite which is their nicest suite and The room was spectacular!!! A mix of Colonial and Modernness and Huge!!! The price was reasonable as well!!! Plenty of restaurants around and shops to buy things in. They also have a nice terrace area on the roof with a pool and outdoor bar. The rooms have no Air-conditioning or or heating so your comfort depends on the elements... Noise is an issue in the rooms since the hotel is purely of concrete construction. But they do know about this and earplugs are provided in the rooms. Over all it was a great experience and the hotel is very beautiful and perfectly fits the scene of colonial downtown Mexico City... We will definitely be staying there again!

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The historic center of Mexico City or "Zocalo" Is a must see. The buildings and museums are amazing and the oldest Cathedral in the Americas " La Catedral Metropolitana" Cannot be missed. Hiring a guide in the cathedral is worth and only costs around $100 Pesos
