Short walk from hotel
You can take the Turibus for $120.00 Pesos for the whole day, it has two lines (red and green) one goes North and the other south, it's an inexpensive way to visit important places and get to know the city.

Great Value in Chic area of Mexico City.
I really enjoyed my stay at Casa de la Condesa. However, they have a sister hotel Condesa Reforma, and taxi drivers and car services get confused, so have the address and keep saying Plaza Luis Cabrera. Hotel is located across the street from University of London, Mexico City. While at the hotel, a TV commercial was being filmed. Friendly staff, too. I had BIG problems with other ORBITZ services booked at the same time, however.

Great Location
The hotel was good. The staff was helpful. The location was within walking distance to some really good food. We would stay again. My only complaints I was told free airport shuttle ended up 150mxn but was worth it. My biggest gripe was the bed and pillows HARD as ROCKS my wife and I both got headaches from the pillows the bed was expected a little hard but not a box spring on a frame. They only serve breakfast but no worries great food down the block to the right paris cafe. Change out beds and this would be a great hotel. I would and plan a trip back.

NOT HAPPY
Unfortunately, didn't get a chance to stay, the area where is located is not safe and didn't even bother to check in, I can't give you an overall view of the amenities, staff etc...so went to another hotel and check in the zona rosa area, lost my money, was not able to call to cancel.

Good Location, Nice Space
Located in Colonia Roma, near both Zona Rosa and Condessa (hot spots for night life), close to the Metro and near the Zocalo, this hotel is ideally situated for exploring Mexico City. The staff are friendly, the rooms clean and spacious - if your living on the cheap, theres a fridge, stove, kitchen counter / storage space, and a dining area - this place is perfect. And cheaper than some hostels I've been in.

Adequate but not great
This is my second stay. I got a "free" upgrade to a suite -- but this is not preferable -- the window opens to the common corridor, no privacy. Consequently the room is dark. A standard room over the street seems better, even if it may be a bit noisier. The pillows are foam, the lighting is not helpful and the WiFi didn't work in my room (only in the lobby). That said, it's reasonably clean and I only stay one night and just enjoy the neighborhood. So it's a very affordable option for that part of Mexico City. Just don't take the upgrade to the suite (unless you need the amenities).

Short walk from hotel
Very nice restaurants in the area within two or three blocks (or less). Affordable, outdoor seating -- good Italian options! And a nice organic juice place just three blocks away. And Cafe Carlos (I think) across from the gym with the glass wall is a nice breakfast choice with a view of the various exercise classes!

Excellent Location; great staff
The Hotel was decent and clean. However, the best thing about the hotel was the location. Right in front of a plaza with restaurants and bars all around. The room was comfortable and clean and pretty threadbare. The internet worked and they have a great patio to sit down and have breakfast etc. The staff was also pretty cheerful. Highly recommendable.
