couple's getaway
We had $800.00 USD cash, stolen from our room safe. Hotel management was unconcerned and never contacted us in any manner to show they cared in any way. We will try to go to the corporate level to further the investigation and get some type of compensation, even if it's a "we are sorry".

Nice but not what it used to be
This hotel chain has a reputation for being one of the best, however it was a little run down and in need of a renovation. The location is good but the restaurants are first class.

Great Value for upscale hotel
The hotel is a little dated, but still very comfortable. It's an affordable option to the best hotels, and still offers very good amenities, location and service.

Noisy
All the rooms on the side of the hotel where I stayed were right on a busy street. The noise from the bars across the street were extremely noisy and the traffic (including horns) from the street were non-stop even in the middle of the night. There was zero noise insulation in these rooms. It was like the windows were wide open. The hotel really needs to install some type of noise barrier.

Modern meets traditional
This hotel has the best of both worlds, a tranquil environment within the room areas and the hip modern restaurants one wishes to visit. The hotel architecture is a masterpiece, making every space and corner planned to be a delight to the senses. Beware only of the rooms adjacent to the street, they can be noisy an night given Mexico City's traffic.

Excellent hotel, but a couple of things disappointed me
Great location, you are near Chapultepec and next to important streets with great restaurant options (Masaryk, Horacio, etc.). There were however a couple of things I didn't like: 1. The illumination inside the room was poor. I had to work during the weekend and I could only do it for a few hours before getting my eyes really tired. 2. I got charged $12/day for Internet usage, and they didn't tell me I could only use it on a single device.

Less than a mile away, go to Puerto Madero (Presidente Masaryk) for a good Argentinean experience.
