camino real aeropuerto

I like the location of the hotel, the good restaurants you can walk to easily. the rooms are ok, the beds are not that good. for the money you pay I would expect more. internet is not for free, which adds cost. location is convenient, thats what you pay the price I guess. you can walk right over the enclosed bridge to terminal 1 or catch the train to terminal 2. at times they overcharge - when it is busy. I think the fiesta in or ramada offers same value for less money (almost half price) - when looking at rooms only.

Big charge for internet

It is a very nice hotel, good service, food, etc. Just a couple of warnings: 1) The Business Center charges about $.50 per minute ($30.00/hr) to use their computer to go on line. This really irked me and is a deal killer for future stays. 2) It is within easy walking distance of Terminal 1 but if your flight lands or leaves from Terminal 2 you got to walk a ways then take their "areo train."

Please take note

We stayed in this hotel and we are kind of disappointed. First, you offered a hotel with swimming pool, but the swimming pool was not working.)I paid for a hotel with this service and I wanted to use it). Furthermore, the hotel had a Mexican Federal Police convention, and many of the rooms were occupied by police. Every time we entered or exited our room, there was a police guard surveilling the lobby and even sometimes he followed us to our room. THAT WAS NOT NICE especially because we were traveling with KIDS.. You advertised this hotel as a family oriented hotel, but the environment was not nice at all... I am wondering who gave the police the right to control the access to our room.. WE NEED AND EXPLANATION, PLEASE

Bob in Mexico

The service at the hotel is very good, the rooms are clean plus the hotel has a super location for the airport, great restaurants within walking distance. all in all a very good location for Mexico City airport area. The only thing I did not like was there is no free access to the internet in the rooms.

Business trip to Mexico City airport

I stayed at the hotel 6 days. The hotel is rated with 5 stars but I found it very dated and in need of maintenance: - My room door kept sticking open (would not lock); I always had to give it a tug. - One of the 4 elevators kept re-opening a few times before it finally closed. - The neighborhood is dangerous, preventing me from going on walks. - The taxi trip out, using the taxis outside the hotel (no ID) cost 120 peso to get to my destination. The ride back to the hotel cost 30 peso. The hotel is NOT located in the Federal airport zone so this is just robbery. The concierge defends the cost and says "it only a little more expensive"; which is easy to say when you are not paying. Otherwise the hotel is what expected. Clean, Quiet, friendly people, good food.
