For that reason, and that reason alone, this hotel is great. After being evacuated from Cabo (Hurricane Odile) we were left stranded in Mexico City with no preparation. This hotel came up in a search as the closest. Not as updated as pictures look
but convenient for flights.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Be sure to check prices online and via people in the airport as sometime they are handing out coupons.
Location, location, location. You can't beat the location of the Camino Real Aeropuerto. If you have an early flight, this is your best option to escape from the crazy Mexico City's traffic. A great value.
The hotel was very nice and close to the airport. The restaurant was excellent. The only minor gripes we had were the long wait at the airport for the shuttle and the slow check in process. We were told the shuttle would be there in 5 minutes but
it was closer to on hour. No explanation was given, but I think this may have been unusual. We had prepaid for our room but still had to stand in line to check in.
This plus the shuttle wait meant an hour an one half delay for weary travelers. Even with those inconveniences, the hotel stay was great. I would otherwise given them 5 stars.
