REVIEW OF STAY IN HOTEL

this is the 2nd time I stayed int hat Hotel and they always claim that they dont get the reservation from your company, eventhough I gave them the print out. Could you check on that please so the next time people wont have the same problem.

A king room was not ready for check-in at 3 pm unless I agreed to occupy a room on the 3rd floor; it was 100 degrees outside, no elevator, would have to climb the outside stairs to the room. I chose to wait an hour in the lobby while they made up the room. No wash cloths? And the odor of cleaning agents or "other" chemicals was strong; odors dissipated over time.

Not so great

They don't have queen beds, as advertized; only double size for a room with two beds. The bathroom is very small and the carpet was unraveling. We were not fortunate enough to be placed in the new section/remodeled rooms of the motel. That is another thing, it is called a hotel, when it really is a motel. The evening staff at the reception were not helpful or friendly at all. The day staff was a lot better. Security was good and location was good. Restaurant looked good, but didn't eat there. Prices seemed high for mexican food.

Too Noise / Need Remodelation badly

If you go to Mexicali and you do not care about a good sleep, this is the hotel to stay. After all bars are closed, when the guests come back to their rooms they keep their parties in their room. Due to the hotel design is no way to avoid any noise of people passing in front of your room or doors opened and people inside with the party going on. Staff at the reception (Betty) very friendly and efficient. Reception remodelate, Rooms are very old and badly needs update/remodelation. for $25.00 US more is wealthy to stay in the Company sister property Hotel Araiza that is only 2 minutes away driving.

Horrible Smell

Place looked good but the sewer gases came up through the shower drain, horrible, disgusting and awful.

noisy

extremely noisy we were not able to sleep even thru out the night is seemed that the were partin in one of the rooms. I had stayed there before and hadn't had any issues. They was construction also limited parking space.
