Beachfront resort with stunning views, swim-up bar and open-air lounge
The beachfront The Palms Resort of Mazatlan is located in the heart of the Golden Zone (Zona Dorada), near boutiques, craft markets, gift shops, bars, restaurants and discos. Guest rooms provide views of the ocean and nearby islands or the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. There's plenty to see and do around The Palms Resort of Mazatlan -- including the nearby cathedral and Teatro Angela Peralta -- but simply lying under a palapa and dozing to the sounds of waves is a good option, too.
Oceanfront infinity pool with swim-up bar
Kids' club with recreational activities, pool party and lunch
Kitchenette suites available
Guest rooms at The Palms Resort of Mazatlan include air conditioning, cable TV, coffee makers, mini-bars, refrigerators, free Wi-Fi Internet access, voicemail, hair dryers, in-room safes, iron/ironing boards. Kitchenette suites feature microwaves, cookware, dishes, utensils and dining tables. Ocean or mountain view rooms are available with balconies or terraces.
Pacific waves touch the edge of The Palms Resort of Mazatlan's infinity swimming pool, surrounded by lounge and patio seating and shaded by palm trees. Enjoy lunch, dinner or a cocktail at the palapa-covered poolside Oasis restaurant while watching the waves roll in. For a slight change of scenery, move over to the two-story atrium lobby bar, open to the beach and pool. Breakfast is served at Las Islas restaurant. I went to Mazatlan for a wedding for one night. and this hotel has a good location and nice staff. Installations very old, need some good refurbishing. Electronic keys do not work, fortunately I was on the first floor but if you are in the top
floors be ready to go up and come down several time.
Beach in front of the hotel have a lot of stones, there is not a good place to be. You can walk a quarter of mile to the left, very close to the El Moro hotel to have a nice shore beach.
Outstanding housekeeping service, clean rooms, good air
conditioning, good room space.
I didn't like the parking lot.

Go to the lighthouse area to buy your ride tickets to visit the Manglares/Jungle Mazatlan at the King David office, also, for the Stone Island ride Puesta de Sol same name office. You will save money. Don't buy them in any third party places.
Loved this resort. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. I usually don't like to stay at an AI resort but the price was so reasonable that I could still go to some of my favorite local restaurants. I have been staying at
another resort in Mzt for 12 years and much preferred the Palms. The only negative I have is that the bed was pretty hard. Walk to many restaurants and shopping.
hotel staff was super, from check in to the last day, I have gone to mazatlan for 12 years, but this was the best hotel that we have stayed at, when we return it will be are first choice, thanks to the staff at the Palms, the rooms were great

We checked in early evening, had nice hot showers, before having dinner in the hotel restaurant at sunset. The beachfront restaurant with the swimming pools which hang just above the beach was a truely magical setting. We enjoyed a leisurely
excellent dinner for a very reasonable price, before retiring for the night. It was very possibly the best night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel and I'm a very frequent traveler. The room, furnishings and cleanliness were impressive at an excellent price!
