bad start
It srarted at check in, the hotel clerk told us we were a month early.I did not have the print out ,because I made the reservation on my laptop,he directed me over to the people that sell time shares while looked up the reservation,I thought it was a cheap trick, then I showed him the reservation on my laptop, then it still took a while, that was a bad start,he gave no apology or a uprade for stalling us,they also charge $14 aday for wi-fi which is free in most of the hotels in Mazatlan

Feels Old
The beach, the location and the staff were Ok but the room the beds and the furniture in general seemed old and for the price I paid, it was not good, I chose a Delux Suite, but I was not at all something that I can tell it was a suite, the experience overall was good but next time I will choose some other place.

Nice place but tricky about pricing.....
Playa Bonito in Mazatlan is a great place and with excellent service. [...], however, showed the price in big print but in small print in the upper right corner (not very obvious)one did not see that the price did not include taxes. This jacked the prince up another $20 per room. Please avoid being somewhat tricky........

One of the best places we have stayed in Mazatlan.Very polite employees. One thing we didn't like was that they had time share people working at desks in the hotel.

If you agree to go on a time share to Pueblo Bonito at Emerald Bay tell them that you want 200.00 in cash.Do not let them give you a credit allowance because you cannot put tips on it.They will hit you up for the tips when you settle up your bill. They do not mention this when they make this offer.

Low Key but very good experience
Shuttle to hotel was a good experience. Check in was early. Located near the gold zone for shopping if required. Plenty of retires stay at this resort. Staff was very kind and helpful. Only stayed for one night therefore I did not attempt to use the internet. Rooms were very large with a view of the ocean. Stayed in full size beds (-).
