Feels Old

The beach, the location and the staff were Ok but the room the beds and the furniture in general seemed old and for the price I paid, it was not good, I chose a Delux Suite, but I was not at all something that I can tell it was a suite, the experience overall was good but next time I will choose some other place.

Low Key but very good experience

Shuttle to hotel was a good experience. Check in was early. Located near the gold zone for shopping if required. Plenty of retires stay at this resort. Staff was very kind and helpful. Only stayed for one night therefore I did not attempt to use the internet. Rooms were very large with a view of the ocean. Stayed in full size beds (-).

great location

Room needs renovations, kitchen and furniture looks tired. Every time we used the hair dryer the electricity went off in bedroom, and have to call front desk. Great location. Cilantros is great but slow service.

Not good

The only good thing about this hotel is the food. Excellent food and I really enjoyed eating here. One problem is that at the restaurant, they try everything so you leave tip. Considering that I got all inclusive, it was not cool. Some of them were rude because I did not leave tip after dinner. The rooms are big but very old and humid! We had chance to go to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay(about 15 minutes driving) and boy, what a difference! do not stay at pueblo bonito mazatlan unless you are looking to tour the city. I suggest you to pay a little more and stay at pueblo bonito Emerald Bay. It is 100 times better, the rooms are better, restaurants are better, pools are huge and clean.

bad start

It srarted at check in, the hotel clerk told us we were a month early.I did not have the print out ,because I made the reservation on my laptop,he directed me over to the people that sell time shares while looked up the reservation,I thought it was a cheap trick, then I showed him the reservation on my laptop, then it still took a while, that was a bad start,he gave no apology or a uprade for stalling us,they also charge $14 aday for wi-fi which is free in most of the hotels in Mazatlan

Nice place but tricky about pricing.....

Playa Bonito in Mazatlan is a great place and with excellent service. [...], however, showed the price in big print but in small print in the upper right corner (not very obvious)one did not see that the price did not include taxes. This jacked the prince up another $20 per room. Please avoid being somewhat tricky........

Good times and hot days

Hotel, location, friely staff, was a plus The only turn down was when we check in we spect our room as the package reservation but, they don,t have the room at the time, they promes to up grade our room next day and they did but the principle is you allrady have and expectation for the money you paid, the thing is if you have a reservation over a month, and you stand in the front desk staff said sorry and your wife to the other side ready to fight anyway, good time after all good food all the weitress really frienly thanks for the servises.
