Perfect Beach Location

We have stayed at this resort many times and are never disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and everything is spotless. There are two pools..one with activities and one for quieter lounging. The sandy and swimable beach is a few steps down from the pools. All rooms have a small kitchen and the hotel has a well-stocked deli. There is also a small supermarket across the street. The 3 hotel restaurants are all good and there are many other restaurants nearby. The bus to the central area stops right in front of the hotel. Best of all the entire staff will do everything they can to make your stay perfect.

Pueblo Fantastico!

This was our third trip to Pueblo Bonito and it was great - as usual. Great service, peaceful, relaxing, can't wait to return. The pool is heated to just the right temperature so that you can just walk right in without cringing. Poolside service is excellent. Happy hours twice per day! Great job Pueblo Bonito, we'll be back real soon!

Take note: this hotel is amazing.

I travel a lot because of my job, and i've been at this hotel with my family over 6 times and going the 7th time this friday. No other hotel in the area can beat this one. Very exited to re-visit Mazatlan! The weather has been perfect every time, staff has always been very nice, comfortable rooms, and the beach has always been amazing. My family and I have also agreed on this hotel being better than the one in Honolulu, Hawaii that's rated 4.5 stars.

I've found that the weather is always best in November-December. I've been here a lot and have always had 80 degree (F) weather every time! It may seem odd to go during winter, but it's the best time of year there!

Good Experience

These are the features that I liked. The location was good because of the convenience to the busses. Their were several convenient facilities near-by. These include laundry, restaurants churches. The beds were comfortable. Hot water was always available for showers. The in room cooking facilities were good. The arrangements for reserving a cabane (palapa) were good. Some prices seemed high. They include the internet. We went outside and paid 1/2 of the hotel price. Phone card connection charges were excessive. Angeles restaurant had great atmosphere.

Our favorite restaurant was La Bruja. It could be reached by bus but the busses stopped running early so the return trip required a cab The meal that I enjoyed was 2 lobster tail with 5 large shrimp of your choice for 180 pesos (about #18.00 dollars). They had Happy Hour Drinks were good and large

Comfortable and Clean

The Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom felt a little cramped but the water pressure was great, plenty of hot water and the tub drained quickly. Problems we have encountered at much newer, fancier resorts in Mexico. They only have queen size beds and two of them in the bedroom pretty much filled the room but they were comfortable and there was adequate dresser and closet room to get our stuff out of the way. We really appreciated the safe in the closet as well to stash the passports until we needed them for the trip home. Location was good. It was convenient for bus service to Golden Zone for restaurants and shopping or to downtown to check out the market.

Free shuttle to sister resort Emerald Bay. Took a day to get used to the sound of the ocean just outside my window room 5020, then I couldn't sleep without it. I will visit again.
