This is not a Mexican ocean front resort. No pool scene, swim up bar, or lounge chairs in the sand. It's instead a old school hotel that happens to be in the best part of town. First, the beach is just across the street. But it is located in what
the locals call "Mexican Mazatlan". Quiet, clean, and without the rumbling traffic and pollution in the "Golden zone", what the locals call "California Mazatlan".
Also, the hotel is on the edge of the historic part of town and a short walk to the Muchado Square. Nicest part of town.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Walk through the old town and be sure to walk out to the ocean on the Avenue des Flores. Very cool.
