Barcelo Karmina Palace Deluxe - All Inclusive

To go with family , here is a good place. There are several type and depth of pools. However we went in Semana santa week, so poolside was very busy, especially to get parasol for sunshade was very difficult. There was no other problem. You can see funny Iguana.

The perfect place to vacation. We were greeted at arrival, the staff was great! the cleanest from inside to the outside. The room was big just the way we like it. The house cleaning needs to be inproved, we used the coffee pot in the room and the trash was left there for the three days we were there. I spilled coffee accidently on the tray and it was never wiped or replaced. We asked to have the soap in the restroom replaced and house keeping never replaced the items that needed to be replunished, even after asking several times so we went out and bought the stuff we needed. I hope not all the house keeping were the same this was just an experience that we had with the house keeping we had and we were charge for the cleaning every day. Other then that Great Vacation we would stay there again and recommended to friends and family.

Like many resorts in countries south of the USA the resort is clean, with nice ocean views and plenty of good food and drink, but the trip to-and-from is a journey through the 3rd world and can really rub off the vacation buzz. That being said, the hotel and staff are nice; we upgraded to the highest level of service so that's not entirely surprising. The lunch buffet was actually really good and the Italian eatery (reservation required) was the best of the three ala carte restaurants. Strangely enough the worst food was the main course at the Mexican restaurant. Overall the service was better than OK, the amenities were OK and the food is OK with the occasional surprisingly good lunch. Favorite experience? Wild iguanas! It's a photographic treat to run across a 3 foot long iguana sunning itself on the sidewalk. Overall, a decent week away for me, the wife and kids.

We have vacationed in Mexico each march for the last six years. This was our first trip to Manzanillo and our nicest vacation yet. The Karmina palace is very well maintained, the rooms are large and kept very clean, and the dining is top notch. From arrival the staff impressed us with thier willingness to help and how friendly they were. They really bent over backwards to make sure our stay was enjoyable. There were a couple areas that could use a little improvement though. The buffet food does tend to get dry as I would expect from a buffet. There is also the annoying chair game near the pool where guests reserve a chair very early and the leave for the day.

Great children's activities and pool. Beach is sheltered and safe for kids. Buffet is kid friendly. Will come back with the grand kids.

Everything was great. Te hotel, the service, the food, the landscape

It is a great hotel with excelent facilities and nice rooms. When we arrived we found a dirty ashtray with ashes and cigarette butts in the room. The food is not fresh and many times we found that they have spoiled food in the buffet. We had a great time in the hotel, but food and room cleaning could be improved. The reservation restaurants are very crowded and you will need to wait in a long line to book yor dinner

First, enjoy a loy every thing, well I think the only bad thing is the beach it's had a lot of small rocks that hurt me so much, tthis is one of the best trip I have had lately.

We really enjoyed our stay. We went with our twin 9 year old children, and they had a blast. They loved the pools, and the all you can eat all day snack bar. The property is manageable in size, and it was comfortable with our children and they could go off for their snacks on their own while we were at the pool. It was like being on a cruise without getting seasick! The room was large with a nice sized terrace and a huge bathroom! We will go back in a heartbeat!
