Bit of a party hotel

Overall, the hotel grounds and amenities were really nice, however, the food was pretty bad. I usually expect this at an all inclusive though. Also, the majority of the ppl at the hotel were there just to party, so things can get a little rowdy. Things can get a little loud at night. A few nights ppl were running through the hallways yelling and screaming after 3 am. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place.

Our winter vacation

The place is well kept. Beautiful grounds. Not enough pool chairs. The food could be better. We were there 7 days and they serve the same thing pretty much everyday. There was no wait staff at the pool area to serve. They did keep the cups and dishes picked up. Not enough bartenders. If you get a garden view, it could be a horse shed that smells. We did get a room change. Over all it was fun.

The port is a short distance. You could walk. The fishing was good even at this time of year.(Feb-Mar). (With the right Captain) Take a water taxi back to the resort. Very inexpensive and a good little ride.

Good Value

A good place to relax with sun, pools, food drink and places to be with adults and or families. Good shows at night. Plenty of activites for all. Beach is beautiful, however swimming is very limited due undertows. A short ride in a water taxi will put you on swimmable beach and snorkel area.

Girls Trip

3 of us stayed at the Riu Santa Fe for 6 nights. Beautiful resort, very clean, met all our expectations. A short walk on the beach to town or easy to take a taxi. As with any all inclusive, the food gets old, however we never went hungry and could always find something to eat. The staff was wonderful and more than willing to help in any way. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Resort

We had a 7 day stay at the Riu Santa Fe from Feb 24 - Mar 2. The staff were nothing less than excellent, extremely friendly and efficient. The room, which had a balcony are very spacious and very clean. The mini bar/fridge was restocked every second day, or if required, they would come more often. The huge food selection from all the restaurants was also extremely good with no complaints whatsoever, other than the coffee could be better, Desserts were awesome. The pools and pool bars were fantastic. As the resort was full, another bartender could have eased the waiting times, but then what do you have to do but enjoy the scenery. There was some late room party's and it became noisy between 0230 - 0400 Hrs. at our room block(3). There are pool areas for all ages. The nightly entertainment is EXCELLENT, especially the Michael Jackson tribute and FAME. The Riu Sante Fe is a beautiful complex, well maintained and within a 20 minute beach walk to downtown Cabo San Lucas, or a 5 minute/ $3.00 per person cab ride/ Min. $12.00. This is a definite stay again location.

Walk the beach to Cabo, stroll along the marina and flea market areas - for friendly bartering. The locals are extremely friendly and helpful, but always be cautious, as you would anywhere. Great restaurants and new shopping malls downtown as well. Whale watching tour was excellent, we saw many, many whales. Also the sunset dinner sail on the" CaboRey" was FANTASTIC, a great deck band and excellent after dinner entertainment.

It was excellent!!! Nothing else to say, just excellent!

Amazing staff, very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy, great food served 24/7, great entertaining; location is convenient, just 30-40 minutes relaxing beach walk to downtown or take a cab 5 minutes drive for $10. Take a glass bottom water taxi to the island beach and snorkeling. Ahhh, can’t wait to go back!

Cabo Cabo Cabo!!!!!!!!!!! Just do it!

First lets say....visit Cabo...it is outstanding. This hotel is fabulous but spend the extra money to get in tower 7 with an ocean view. The standard garden rooms are just that....STANDARD! You will have everything you need but that is about it. Our view was of the backside of the Riu Palace :( We asked to be changed to a pool view and they told us they would send us a letter when they could change our room but we never heard another thing from them so we just dealt with what we had. The pools and grounds are beaufitul. Food is just OK but that is expected in an all inclusive resort. Bartenders are great! Go on the Zodiac Whale watch! Deep sea fishing is not worth the money.
