When we checked in we had booked 3 rooms all with double bed. Went to each of the rooms to get settled in, only to find each room had only 1 king bed. So we went to get in straighted out only to find they had only 1 room with double beds. But that took a couplke of hours just to get that! We had 7 in our party so that made it kinda tough. We did end up getting a roll away bed, but we would have better off sleeping on the floor. All the beds were pretty hard, kind of hard to relax, we you couldn't get a good night sleep. We stayed in rooms 2011,1118,1119, and every night all we heard was the barking dogs and the smell of horses. Overall, pretty disappointed in the stay. Last year we had a great vacation at a resort in San jose del Cabo, looks like we will head back there. Sorry RIU Sante Fe, your not on the top of the list.

Swimming with the dolphins in Cabo is so much nicer. We did the newest one in San Jose, and the kids had a great time, the parents couldn't see much. Stay and get great pictures with dolphins in Cabo. (Well worth the money)

staff was always very friendly and helpful; all locations on the property were extremely well maintained, almost immaculately clean; bars could have stocked more brand name labels; buffets were normal 'buffets', but contained a wide variety; specialty restaurants were better this time, but trying to get a reservation was confusing and a bit difficult;

Take the city bus for 8 pesos to get downtown for additional bars, etc., & for shopping. I found prices in Cabo San Lucas to very high compared to the rest of MX

This is a value for money hotel. It's worth every dollars you pay. My 2 adult children enjoy as much as I do.

They have everything.... Drinks, gourmet food, live music and shows every night, free WiFi @ lobby, water aerobic, massage, special celebration for Christmas and new year. A package deal.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME IN MEXICO, EVERY YEAR WE GO SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY, HEARD BAD THINGS ABOUT MEXICO SO NEVER GAVE CHANGE. I WAS SURPRISED ABOUT THIS TRIP, EVER THING WAS WONDERFUL AND SAFE. THE RESORT, BEAUTIFUL. DON'T BELIEVE BAD REVIEWS. FOOD WASNT THE BEST BUT THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT. BEING FROM LOUISIANA, NO FOOD COULD COMPARE SO IT COULD HAVE E BETTER THAN WE THOUGHT.LOL, PLEASE GO TO THE RIU SANTA FE, YOU WILL NOT REGRET AND ALSO PURCHASE THE LOS CABOES CITY TOUR, GREAT TO SEE THE SITES, WILL GO AGAIN

TAKE BUS OUTSIDE RESORT NO MORE THAN $1.00 USA. WAL MART IS JUST 10- 15 MIN. WORK, SORT CUT DIRT ROAD LEFT TURN OUT OF GATE. OR TAKE BUS

no elevators, get ready to do some hiking Wine at the bars is awful at best Beer at bars is bad, DosEquis in bottle not bad, out of the tap at bars, terrible. Our building was by the horse stables, it smelled like horse a stable and woke up to barking dogs every morning at 6:30am Most of the hard alcohol is bottom of the barrel and oh so bad. The staff is awsome, everything very clean, ;pool area and scenery is excellent but the food is hit and miss

Stayed there last year and had great time. They must be feeling the pinch there as well, this year.. On the 5th night of our stay, the sewer backed up and there was raw sewage running outside our balcony on the ground floorThe front desk claimed that they didn't know about it several hours after the event. we didn't eat or drink anything outside the resort, but I contacted Montezuma's revenge(e colli) on the 4th day of our stay. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.

very good service, nice location with beautiful view of El Arcos. Try and book round trip trans from cabo airport to Riu in advance to save a few bucks. overall thumbs up and would book there again...go for bulding #7

Had a great stay!
2 weeks can be a long stay at some resorts but not at the Sante Fe. The staff always had a smile and went out of their way to help.

A bit of a long walk in to town along the beach, the local buses run every 5 to 10 minutes and are great and cheap.

Great getaway!
One of the restaurant captains was not very accomodating with customers who are trying to dine in.; his attitude can drive customers away. Buffet is good; but especialty restaurants are much better. Very relaxing place to go to.

Excellent resort!
One of the cleanest and best resorts for your money. Staff is outstanding! Resort is spotless and a beautiful location. Great for kids and beautiful view of the Arch and Medano Beach!
