- Los Cabos (The Capes) is at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula. Nothing Special
We have stayed at quite a few different resorts, and this one is at the bottom of our list. The resort and it's surroundings were beautiful, but that's it. The food was mediocre at best (I never gained a pound), and that was after consuming quite a bit of beer! The beds were hard as rocks, we had to wait constantly for a waiter for drinks everyday at the buffet(although on our last day there we finally had a waiter that was spectacular), they knew that there was only my husband and myself checking in, and they gave us a room with double beds. We were there with four other couples and they also all had double beds. It wasn't overly busy but they kept insisting that they were at capacity and couldn't do anything about it. We also paid extra for ocean view and were given the same rooms that the other couples had which were garden view. We could see the ocean in the far distance but I would hardly count that as being ocean view. The pool staff was lacking until we offered the waitress a big tip at the end of the day. They had Corona on tap, but reserved the Tecate Light for the guests that rented the cabanas which is utterly ridiculous. There also was no alcohol in the rooms. Although I loved the area I would never go back to this resort or recommend it.

Fantastic Week to Relax
Experience was one of a kind. Location is perfect for quiet/relaxing. It is about a 20 minute cab ride to downtown Cabo San Lucas where the night life is. There are limited electrical outlets in the room, which was the only downfall in the place. Water pressure is awesome!!!

First Time To Cabo
First trip to Cabo at the Melia. The transfers went great w/ Grayline. Check in was smooth and the rooms were ok but needed up dating. Staff was great, with the exception of Amir who had a attuide with everyone. The resort was very clean and maintained. It was very windy and cool so the Heated pool was a Plus.The resturants were ok for an all inclusive and the buffet food was often cold.There were no reservation issues. There could have been more activities for the kids / teens. No problem taking the bus to town and walking around, very safe. Would go back again.

Relaxing holiday.
We were treated well by staff from the minute we entered the resort. They updated us from adjoining rooms (we traveled with another couple) to a suite with an adjoining room. It was beautiful and such a joy to watch whales from the window of our room. The food was good, but one additional restaurant would be nice. We loved the pool, and walks on the beach were beautiful. The only glitch in the entire week was when we needed to print our boarding passes to return home. We were charged for internet access and then not provided with help navigating the internet in Spanish. It took us 90 minutes to do what we should have been able to do in 15 minutes. Other than that, we had a great week.

Great Vacation!
This was one of the best vacation that my wife and I have ever taken and we take an average of two vacations a year. The resort is centerly located between Los Cobo and San Jose del Cobo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good and a good selection. If I has to say any thing negative, the cocktails used very low end liquor unless you ask for specific brands.

Take the Gray Line tour of Los Cobo and San Jose del Cobo. Great value and it includes lunch and a boat ride to the Arch.

Awesome trip
Went with 14 year old and 15 year old. We were very pleased with how relaxing the hotel atmosphere was. Service was excellent and accomodating to requests - ie extra cot, late checkout, seating choice for dining. Restaurants were great. We would go back to this hotel again. Good value for dollar. Two thumbs up.

better than we thought
great time, employees were awesome, beach a bit rocky, no swimming in ocean very rough, drinks were awesome, needed longer night activites or maybe a disco but great for relaxing, kids center so it appleals to all ages, im 25 had a blast met some great ppl.
