  • Two Jack Nicklaus golf courses on site
Rooms
Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa treats guests to panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez via private, furnished balconies, and in some rooms, terraces equipped with hydro bath tubs. Decor takes cues from the beachside setting, thanks to sand-colored bedding, walls and artwork. Marble bathrooms and spacious living rooms create an opulent feel in imperial suites, where Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and a coffee maker are standard amenities. Various suite layouts are available, catering to groups of any size.
Dining

Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa does what it can to take advantage of its seaside locale. For instance, guests might dine alfresco on the terrace at Northern Italian eatery Rosata Restaurant or barefoot on the beach at Peninsula Restaurant. Three bars fuel the tropical scene. Take shots at the swim-up Bikini Bar, indulge in live music at Fire Pit Bar or sample premium Cuban cigars and tequilas at the candlelit Lobby Bar.

Recreation
Five swimming pools and a supervised kids club are staples at Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa, but the true diamond of the resort is SOMMA Wine Spa, which utilizes -- yes -- wine-based treatments to renew skin and help the body relax. Golf lovers, meanwhile, embrace the access to two Jack Nicklaus golf courses on site.

Weekday getaway

We arrived on a Tuesday and left Friday. The resort was beautifully landscaped and overlooked a lovely beach with straw huts and cabanas. There were several beautiful pools (including swim up bikini bar) to choose from. Even the more popular and gorgeous infinity pool was quiet and relaxing. The attention to detail was amazing. On Thursday evening there was live music at the fire pit. We chose a Grande Ocean view room with free buffet breakfast and free cocktails/appetizers from 5-8pm which saved us money in the long run.The entire resort is absolutely spotless, the staff is happy to be there and obviously well trained. We would definitely go back!

Perfect romantic vacaction spot! Quiet!

This resort is extremely quiet and romantic! It is out of the way and not in the busy center of Cabo San Lucas. It is located on the gentle side of a mountain and is nestled between that and the ocean. There is only 2 other resorts nearby and they are about a km or so away and with this resort we share one access off the highway which is guarded and incoming traffic screened. There is lots of big warm pools and lovely intimate hottubs that are surrounded by rock and foilage. There's a big infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. The golf course looks amazing and beautiful. There was very sparse people around as the grounds are so huge! The food is amazing the service is great. Our hotel room faced the ocean just like all the others and is very quiet all the time! Since the waves can be big and their are rock formations on the beach it is not recommended for a lot of swimming but is is beautiful and extremely scenic. Cabo San Lucas is only a 10 minute drive from the resort and is highly recomended to get your own rental car.

Gorgeous resort

Although the resort was a drive from town, it was worth the distance. The grounds were beautiful, included plenty of padded chairs, unlimited towels, the friendliest staff, and a huge fire pit that overlooks the ocean, which they light daily at sunset. The one downside to the resort is the restaurant situation. There are 3, one is a very formal Italian, another a pricey buffet, and the other the beachside casual grill. The problem was each evening we went to the grill, they said they were full all night with reservations and we could not get in. This became a joke each night when we returned to our room and noticed an empty restaurant!!! But regardless, this is a beautiful and 4 star resort, and we travel often.

Nice short vacation

We just returned from a very nice four-night stay at the "Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa." The hotel is fairly secluded but the views are great. The staff is very helpful. Since it was only the beginning of high season in Cabo San Lucas, the hotel was rather empty. As a result, we had no problem finding a lounge chair by the infinity pools or the beach. Even though the hotel is located along a sandy beach, water shoes are recommended when swimming as there are numerous rocks underwater. When we made our reservation we were under the impression that Internet access was free. It turns out that it was not. Instead, it is fairly expensive. We only ate a couple of times at one the hotel's restaurants. Both times, the food was very good but slightly pricey.

A Nice Romatic Escape

This was a short 5 day trip for my wife and I - first trip in quite some time without the kids. Fiesta Americana really is a beautiful resort. The pools are stunning, the rooms are very nice and well put togeteher - overall, worth the last minute deal we received online. However, there were definately some things you should take into account. First, the food throughout the resort is not only over-priced, but also very ordinary and nothing to look forward too. The staff throughout the premises are really great, accept those at the front desk. Way to much attitude!

Dining tip: In Hotel

Avoid all meals at hotel if possible. You can get a lot more for your money with a quick trip into to town - That is if you have a car.

Beautiful hotel with a few small issues

Hotel was beautiful and staff was friendly. I would recommend, but a few issues to take note of: We were a little disappointed because after we booked our reservation, we saw online that they were offering a free upgrade which included extras like free breakfast, afternoon cocktails and a nicer room - we asked them if they could extend this promotion to us and they told us no since we had already booked our room before they put the offer online. Not the end of the world, but we felt that they could have cut us a break considering that we were there during a very quiet time (the hotel was maybe 10% full). Make sure you search online for promotions BEFORE booking your room! Hotel is a bit far from the marina, but they do offer a shuttle for $10 per person (cab is $20 each way so it's a good deal). Only problem is the shuttle picks up/drops off only a few times a day, so you have to arrange your schedule around them. Food at the hotel was decent but pricey, so we liked to go into town for cheaper and more authentic meals. Beach is not swimmable, but we didn't mind taking the shuttle to the other beaches. The hotel grounds are beautiful so we did enjoy having a few days laying by the pool/beach and it's especially pretty at night with the torches (has a more intimate, romantic feel than other large hotels). Not sure if there was some kind of "employee friends and family" thing going on, but there were several large local families hanging around the pool that didn't seem to be guests of the hotel. They brought large coolers of snacks and drinks, which you wouldn't expect to see at a 5 star hotel. Yes, ordering food from the hotel is a bit expensive and I understand that some people may want to bring their own food to save money, but there is a more discreet way to do it and not act like you're on a camping trip. For example, we were in the jacuzzi when a large family came over dragging their cooler and then we watched in horror as an elderly lady calmly poured maple syrup (not joking) into a little boy's hand as he sat in the jacuzzi, which he licked off and then rinsed his sticky hands in the water. Overall, it made what could have been an upscale pool experience into a tacky atmosphere.
