Hotel is in a great location, close to downtown with all the shops and restaurants. No car is needed once arrive at the hotel. This is our second time at this hotel and both times we have been thrilled. And they have one of the best happy hours in Mexico. Worth the trip.

One night - a pleasure

We spent one night. Our room was exactly as we had reserved, the staff was courteous and spoke good English. We had dinner & breakfast and the food was very good, as was the service. Everything was clean and the view was terrific. We will definitely stay there again.

awsome location

Staff extremely courteous, responsive and honest. spectacular ocean veiw room spacious and comfy, killer veiw of isle de Carmen and coronado islands.nice beautiful buffet breakfast in ocean veiw resturant with outside terraced dinning, very cool place, nice quiet ( for the most part) and friendly town.I found scuba diving the islands with its wide variety of sealife a lot of fun. However if the locals could jussst tone the radios down in there cars as they cruise the malecone on sat nights a little that would really work for me, but hey it's Mexico. 5 stars

GREAT HOTEL AND GREAT LOCATION

THE STAFF AND HOTEL AMENITIES WERE EXCELANT. YOU CAN WALK TO ANYWHERE IN TOWN SAFELY. FOOD WAS GOOD AT ALL THE RESTURANTS WE ATE AT. ATMS ARE AT A PREMIUM, THERE IS ONE A BLOCK FROM THE OLD MISSION. OUR ATM CARD WAS COMPROMISED AND OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT WAS EMPTIED JUST AFTER WE GOT BACK TO COLORADO. DON'T KNOW IF BEING IN MEXICO WAS A PART OF THE PROBLEM. THE BANK HERE IN COLORADO SAID THEY HAD A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THAT ISSUE AFTER PEOPLE VISITED MEXICO. IT MIGHT BE BEST IF ONE TOOK CASH WITH. I PREPAID MY HOTEL EARLY SO THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THAT. WE ARE DEFINITLY GOING BACK AND STAY AT THE HOTEL. THE ROOMS ARE 5 STAR QUALITY.

Relaxing Vacation

Best hotel in Loreto with a friendly staff. As a local resident stated to me "the hotel is like the new baby in the family, so it will get much attention". We arrived on Thursday afternoon, escorted to our nice air conditioned hotel room, unpacked, headed to the pool to cool off and had a very cold beer and pizza pool side. The pizza is OUTSTANDING and one of the best I've ever tasted! The town surrounding the hotel is quiet and safe. I rented a Yamaha Rhino from the hotel and cruised around the town, the beaches and the mountain range to San Javier and had a great time. If you are seeking white sand beaches you will only find them in the islands and it will require a boat trip to get there. Overall it was relaxing, enjoyable and I would return in the future. CON: I didnt like the manner in which I was solicited to get involved in a hotel "presentation" or as I saw it a time share sale. A suggestion to the hotel manager: ensure I am enjoying myself, feeling comfortable first and then show me the benefits of the hotel and amenities before asking me for a credit card...

Fabuloso!

Whether dining in the restaurant; having a cold beer in the bar; or just relaxing on our private balcony while we watched the sun rise and set over the Sea of Cortez, we can't imagine a more comfortable, luxurious and accommodating hotel can be found in Baja. It is only a five-minute morning walk to the marina to watch the boats and fishermen head out to sea. We were minutes away from the historic district, shopping and the beach. We'll definitely be back next year! Perfecto!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Keep in mind that most of the "tourist" shopping won't begin until 10:00 ish. Plan to have a leisurely breakfast of local fare & simply enjoy the Loreto culture - you're on "baja" time!

Exceptionally Relaxing Getaway!

Our vacation was specifically a relaxing one and we couldn't have asked for anything more that what we got. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We were pampered in all aspects. We ordered room service twice, one for breakfast, which one of the Chefs was kind to bring to us and the other time we asked to have brought a bottle of champagne and dessert. We enjoyed margaritas and cervezas by the pool and we pampered ourselves to a first class body massage from their spa. The only thing we didn't like is that the housekeeper cleaned our room even though we had the "privacy please" sign outside of our door and she took the breakfast pastries that we had left and we were saving for later :o(

Look for mom and pops restaurants. They serve great food and are pretty cheap.
