IT IS OK
COMPARED WITH THE OTHER HOTELS IN THE SAME BEACH, I THINK THAT THIS ONE IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET. PERFECT FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS. VERY WELL LOCATED

RESTAURANTS AT THE MARINA ARE EXPENSIVE. BE CAREFUL SPECIALLY WITH BECCOFINO IT IS THE MOST CROWDED SO YOU WILL THINK THAT THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, THINK AGAIN. DON?T ASK FOR PASTA WITH FOUR CHEESE. EMILIO?S IT IS THE BEST PLACE, TOO HOT BUT EXCELLENT.

Barcelo......great!
This hotel was great. The shows are for young and old and the dinner with it, excellent. The outside bars and restaurants need to expand their hours. The location was perfect as there was shopping right across the street, local buses make city travel cheap. The surf was dangerous for anybody that's not a strong ocean swimmer or for small children. Swimming with the dolfins is worth the money! The hotel also needs bigger beds. The duck dinner at the Don Quijote restaurant is a must! These guys know the meaning of "All Inclusive"!

You can't get much better than this!
What a pleasure to wake up to an oceanview and sunshine everyday with temps in the mid 80's. After a leasurely breakfast it was time to hit the pool or ocean and the sun. The pina coladas were delicious and plentiful. Shopping was unique and very handy right across the street from the hotel. For a more unique experience we took a bus ride into Zihuatanejo for more shopping and fun (cost was very reasonable.) We took a tour from the hotel one day. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. We visited a school, made a clay tile, visited a nature preserve had lunch and a boat ride at a lagoon. Great fun!!!!! We have been at this Barcelona before and find it very very nice. We would classify this trip right up with the best!

more than i expected, it was great.
a good trip is always about the staff and these people were the best. the hotel was maintained spotless. lots of places to shop. some good food to be had off sight. the food at the hotel was very good.

Eight days in Paradise
We love this hotel - we gone with friends two years in a row now! The location is perfect, right on the beach, and several swimming pools to choose from. My husband enjoys the fishing and parasailing. I enjoy shopping. The cuzine is endless and so much variety, our fav is the Characol Grill... quick to serve and everything so delicious. The staff is always very nice and accommodating.

great times with friends
when we arrived and have the first look , we thogh its going to be fun , we were right. even do the change to a different room in the middle of our vacation was not fun , but we enjoy our staid in the hotel. the food was good , but it should have more to choose from . at the end we had a vacacion of a life time

good family friendly.
The staff was friendly, I think is way overpriced for the quality and the size of the room. Check in time is 1:00PM, I think you should be to check in after 10:00AM, especially when you have children. AC was aweful bathroom way too small. I'm not sure if i want to go back, or even recommend it.

Fun in the sun But!
The hotel itself was really good but, there is two levels of all inclusive there. Orbitz doesn't offer the better of the two. The hotel charges $30 a day person but, it wasn't worth the money. The bad was if you want to go there when it's nice and quiet there don't go the weeks before and after easter. The beach and town is way to busy with vacationing Mexicans from other states and citys. The beach was packed and the garbage was left on the beach and water was dirty because of them not caring about anything but themselves.

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
Don't use Dollars out exchange them at the hotel or the bank. Use Pesos every where you go if you use Dollars will only give you 10 to 1 pesos to dollar. But if you use the pesos your money will go a lot further. The exchange rate for me was anywhere between 12.5 to 14 pesos per dollar.
