We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was great. They were very friendly and helped in every way possible. We would love to return again sometime soon.

Great location on isla mujeres,easy access from the port. You should skip the all inclusive package and just get breakfast. Then you can go out and explore this great island.

I made reservations from airport to hotel with privilege aluxes (66 dollars per person) and that was great to begin with, got to the hotel in about an hour. Stayed 5 nights, the receptionist was okay, not very nice but everyone else was so nice! Guillermo who took our luggage to our room was very helpful told us all the good spots, where to eat. The hotel is beautiful! Clean We got the Superior room with the Jacuzzi which was great. It was only 2 of us and the space was just perfect. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. Room service cleaning was okay, and the cleaning lady was the nicest person ever. I had to unclog our shower, GROSS, there was so much hair and not my hair!, it was disgusting. But I’m not one to get all crazy over little things like that, but definitely a downer. It rained almost every night but was clear sunny and hot during the day. It was nice that it rained and got cool at night to enjoy the Jacuzzi more. The television in the room did not have English channels and the ones it did you couldn’t see very well. We did NOT do the all inclusive, just the breakfast which was delicious. We did order room service which was Okay not the best food but good enough, but we ate out most of the time. The hotel restaurant (CAFE DEL MAR) by the beach was NOT delicious. beef was gross. I did not want to go to the American restaurants around but go more local. Best sea food ever! We ate at VELASQUEZ a small local restaurant right on main street by the beach our food was delicious; we also ate at JAX (right across the hotel) and did not like it at all. We waited so long for our food to get there it was just unpleasant, too Americanized. BRISAS GRILL was amazing as well. Many “brisas” restaurants so make sure you go to BRISAS GRILL. We rented a cart for 650 pesos drove to PUNTA SUR! Amazing! Food was great! The next day we rented the scooter for 350 drove back to punta sur to visit GARRAFON Park where we paid 39 dollars each person, buffet, pools, beach, drinks and ZIP LINING OVER THE OCEAN! For only 39 dollars we had the best time. After exploring the island we finally just laid out in the hotel the last days had a bunch of drink by the pool. Tip them very well 100-200 pesos and the service will be outstanding. Overall the best vacation I’ve been on, very relaxing. I will definitely be back soon. *TO CHANGE YOUR MONEY TO PESOS, wait till you get to the pier where you take the boat before getting to isla mujeres and it will be 13 PESOS FOR THE DOLLAR, which is better than in the airport for 11 PESOS.

We had some issues with the first room we were given. Be aware, if you get one of the Superior rooms, you will have a view of the town and the cemetary that is next door! We traveled for 12 hours to get there and were disappointed with our accomodations. However, the manager was accomodating and found us another room after 2 days, the next category up that had a view of the pool and had a separate living room. Rooms were clean. The beach was beautiful. The food was mostly good - especially the Thai restaurant. They had failry decent drink offerings. Make sure you order a Mango Tango - good stuff! The spa was ok. The facial and massages were fair, we have had much better. Not a ton of things to do in town, the resort offered entertainment at night (live music). Not many people took advantage of it though. The hotel needs to invest in a wider variety of piped in music during the day, got tired of hearing the same songs over & over. They could also come up with daily events. Overall, it was a nice property and pretty good value for the money.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and the wait staff was all very friendly. This was the nicest resort on the Island. I'd recommend staying here even with families. Once again, we had a great time.

If you're traveling as a couple, I guarantee you won't find a better place then this hotel! UPGRADE to the best room! Pay a bit more & get the best! Huge bed, sitting room, 2 great TVs, Kitchen, Balcony with two seats & a fascinating beach, swimming pool with lights & sea view with a Jacuzzi in the balcony, what more can be added for perfection? Looking for location & food? This place has it all!! Don't include the meals with the hotel booking coz the restaurants r very close & has amazing food nearby. Don't waste time searching for other places, my girl was about to cry thinking about leaving the place coz 3 days were too not enough for this wonderful vacation!

excellent location. Skip the all inclusive and see what the island has to offer for food and drink. Hotel pool and beach area are very clean and very nice.

Very nice property; great location. Access to the beach couldn't be more convenient. Breakfast buffet was very nice. I was disappointed in margaritas and 'what was supposed to be fresh fish.' Enjoy the restaurants along the beach for the freshest fish possible.

Front desk staff could be friendlier ... I witnessed incoming guests being offered welcome drinks ... I was not offered one! Some of the staff are rude ... Jorge, Salouna or something like that ... The a/c in the bedroom does not work, in the living room area it is barely adequate ... The bathroom sink leaks underneath ... the tub drain stopper assembly does not work ... The toilet does not flush solid waste very well, takes multiple flushes ... NO "Pay per view cable", "AS ADVERTISED" ... NO "Ocean view", "AS ADVERTISED" ... NO in room "WHIRLPOOL", "AS ADVERTISED" ... NOT AS ADVERTISED !!! Supposed to be an "Adults Oriented" Hotel ... there were many infants and quite a few small children ... There are many, many negatives, too many to list ... Two (2) positives, the weather (sun), the warm water ......... All the rest was below or at average ......................
