Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

When we first arrived we were greeted with a ng, cool, refreshing cucumber drink. The service was outstanding from the maid service, to the restaurant employees, to the employees serving drinks around the pool. The seven pools was amazing. Unfortunately, we were given the wrong room, however, they did give us a discount at the spa which worked out very well for us. The food was good at the restaurants. It is a great place for families and friends to get together.

Likes - Huatulco area is very clean - Weather is very constant (we had no rain the week of sept 1-7) - Lots of different pools - Lots of activities to participate in if you wanted to - Staff is wonderful, very sweet people (you treat them with respect they treat you with respect) - premium rooms worth if if you take advantage of the free spa stuff or if you get a good deal (most rooms have at least a partial ocean view) Dislikes - VERY minimal food choices during the weekdays. (we were also there for Christmas 2012 and found alot more choices with all of the buffets and restaurants open) - bed was terrible

If you have never vacationed in Mexico, this is an excellent place to start. It is still "undiscovered" and Huatulco is very clean, and the people friendly. This is our 4th trip to this hotel, and the first time to revisit a city in which we vacationed. 4 restaurants, entertainment, and excellent bars with premium liquor. The spa is world class, and we had 2 spa days this time (80 min massage + the works). If you are looking to relax, this is the place.

The hotel is one of the best places I ever been, the food is delicious, the service wonderfull, the personnel is very kind and the location of the hotel is magnificent. I,m shure than in my next vacation I,m going to find a Dreams hotel it really was a very very nice vacation

Great food and drinks, many great options available for dinner time. Cleanliness of hotel two thumbs ups. Great family atmosphere.

The resort is beautiful, staff not so friendly. Staff not so accomodating. They only have two types of beer, for those that do not drink Corona's you will if you stay at this resort. They should have more beer options. Wi-fi should be complimentary not $10 a day. Room service should not have limitations. Cleaning staff should provide clean towels if dirty ones on the floor and should provide extra face wash clothes.

I think this is a good hotel for families, but if you travel with your couple or by yourself I do not recommend it. The Spa is really good. Check in and check out a nightmare, since the hotel is very busy all the time.

This was our fourth trip to a Dreams Resort. We have stayed at Dreams Cancun, Puerta Vallerta, Cabo and now Hatulco. Of the four we've seen so far, we put Hatulco fourth on our list. The facility really is pretty and the rooms are very nice, the staff is friendly. We liked the others a little better for several things, food, outside activities, in house entertainment. In addition, and ths is VERY important to us, this Hatulco Dreams had some aggressive anti smoking rules, which we hated. Outside and open air locations, which is most of the facility, should not be restrictive. Not on my vacation. Also found that we actually had to request alcohol in our drinks, really? I thought that was implied when you order a drink.

The overall resort is beautiful, from the landscape design to the layout of the pools and the gorgeous long stretch of amber beach. The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating to your needs. The overall resort is spotless including your room. Our room is more or less standard resort room with an exception of a Jacuzzi on you balcony. I thought that was pretty cool. The all inclusive food was fair/ good, and the best is the world cafe for breakfast. We found the food to be a bit monotonous and is not as good as the Dreams in Cancun although they have similar restaurants. There are some issues that give me pause to return to this hotel, for two and half days there was a incessant noise of power sanders and scrapers near the adult pool from morning thru the afternoon. We've come to a resort to enjoy the pool and relax not to hear construction noise. We complained to the front desk and all we got is a lot of lip service "we'll check on it and get back to you tomorrow" so it goes for couple of days. The other problem is that you must be up early to get the few chairs that are available near the pool. The pools however are wonderful and are on the edge of the beach and provides a fantastic view of the bay. All in all not a bad all inclusive hotel except for a couple of issues which I described.

Just got home today. This resort was amazing and the wheather is even better. Very clean and very friendly place. Looking for SAFE you will find it here, in and out of the resort! I would recommend this great place.
