friendly service!
My 14yr old son and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was great, went out of their way to assist us. Room was always cleaned well and over all an enjoyable experience. However my son did get sick and we only ate from the buffet for two days........I'd warned him about macaroni salads! The beach was nice,very rough surf at times..many red flag days. We like to body surf so this was fun for us. We rented a car at first, but didn't need it as all the activities we chose included pickup. The taxis were very cheap. I would reccomend this place people in good shape that like to walk. There are easily accessible shuttle buses from rooms to dinning areas and beach, but sometimes you have to wait a bit for them.

Short drive from hotel
The nearest town is Santa Cruz and it has some nice shopping and dining,however it is 10 minutes by taxi and about $2.50 US

Crown Pacific on the hill
We have stayed at the Crown three times. The staff are always wonderful. The food has gotten alot better, but has a long way still to go. The price of the Crown affords you to be able to take a cab into Santa Cruise or La Cretictia at night for dinner. We have still not tried all the resturants offered. The Las Brisas is alot of walking and stairs.Camino Real is a wonderful hotel food is fantastic. We stayed 4 days. We love Haultulco and will be returning again and again.
