Great way to celebrate new year's
The hotel service was wonderful even on a late check in. The rooms were excellent and clean. I would definitely recommend Riu GDL to any body who visit the city. Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule, I was not able to experience the breakfast and bar. On my next visit to Guadalajara, Riu would be my hotel request.

Wedding in Guadalajara
Excellent staff and service! One concern though is the noise of the air conditioning system in the rooms; RIU, being a reputable chain, should definitely look into this.

Great business trip
Th ehotel is very nice, clean, good size rooms, and one of the best breakfast buffets I ever saw. The staff was very nice and very friendly.

Beautiful Hotel
The Riu is in a great location, gorgeous decor throughout the hotel. Bellmen are very friendly & helpful. Had a problem with the front desk getting an early check-in & they gave us the wrong type of room, but was fixed. Using the room phones were a HUGE pain just to call room to room. Other then that I would stay at this hotel again & recommend it.

Fantastic Christmas vacation
Love this hotel! It's great located, it has wonderful views of the city, the buffet breakfast is delicious and with a great variety. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We definitely will be back.

Staying somewhere else
Overrated
The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, but ask for something, you may not get it. We asked for extra hangers (not a biggie), they said no problem, but we never got them. They actually didn't clean our room on the last night of our stay! They promised us fresh towels at least, didn't get those either. Don't think I'll stay there again, too pricey for what you get.

Nice hotel but definitely in need of customer service training
I arrived to the hotel and was checked in very quickly. Everything went well until I called down for towels on day 2. It took 5 phone calls and me to actually go to the downstairs receptionists to get towels. It is a great hotel and in a great location. I may stay there again if they offer a discount, but I think I will try Hilton because the customer service there has never been less than A+
