This building is identified with a whole period of Guadalajara's history.
The Hotel offers the most modern and updated equipments and facilities combined with a classical colonial ambient and "climate". Everything focused for the comfort and enjoyment of all our distinguished guests, assuring and warranting that it will be a trip and a meeting back with the past of this great place.
It Might be mentioned as a curious aside that there are rumors and legends about tunnels that connect Hotel Morales to the Metropolitan Cathedral (about 1/2 mi. away). The date and reasons by which these underground passages were forgotten and cancelled remain unknown. Likewise, the use they were given is a mystery but their existence does give an enigmatic touch to Hotel Morales.
The Hotel Morales is classified as Artistic Heritage and Architectonical Jewel of the city of Guadalajara. It is also under protection of the INAH (National Anthropology and History Board of Mexico).

Great location; everything you could need.
The location of the Hotel Morales and it's amenities including internet was terrific. We were able to make all our necessary connections and appointments during our 2 day stay. Our last day there we stayed at another hotel and we were not as comfortable. We will be back.

Great Location
The Hotel Morales was more than we bargained for. Awesome staff, great location, close to everything-shops, museums, etc. Their breakfast buffet is the best! The rooms were nice, very clean, huge showers. Very pretty hotel overall. We liked it so much, we went back to that hotel at the end of our trip. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Cool Historic Hotel
Picked this hotel off previous reviews. Most reviews nailed it. This is a really picturesque hotel, very elegant and centrally located. The staff was friendly and helpful, although my needs are really simple. Got some good tips on dining, but they really aren't up to speed on nicer places nearby. If you like quaint hotels this is a good bet.

There's some great night spots with upstairs open air balcony just west of the plaza. It's a moderate walk but beats the boring restaurants near the hotel.

Business trip with a cultural ingredient
Great location, great service, frendly employees, and the price combined with the airfare is great. Downtown Guadalajara is beautifull and like in every city you have to be carfull if you go out at nights. The Hotel by itself is very nice with a colonial theam. They have Mexican music, good food, and tequila, what else do you expect?

Great value for the money!!!
This hotel is very grand looking in the Lobby. There are breautiful arches, and a magnificant fountain in the lobby. The location is great and cabs are always at the door. It is very close to some great resttuarants. The restuarant is OK for breakfast, but if you wanyt a great evcening meal, there are better places than the hotel. The rooms are adequate, but the beds are extrememly HARD.
