Hotel Country Plaza

Advantage: The environment & building looks quiet nice with good atmosphere (includes good serving attitude). Though it's a small hotel, it has most of the instruments for a decent hotel (GYM / Bar / Swimming pool ...etc). With a restaurant which serves nice Mexican food and were quite famus in the neighborhood. However, exotic courses is not suggested. A taxi station (Sitio 41) accross the road with a shopping mall (Plaza Patria) 2 blocks away, makes a good compenstaion for its remote position between Guadalajara downtown / Zaopopan. Disadvantage: Free internet was based on Wifi, which is quite unstable with reconnect require for about every 15 mins. This brought a bit inconvenient for the ones tight businese schedule. Summary: A good choice for business trip & family stay under very good price & pleasant condition.

Family and friends stayed here and the hotel staff were so nice and friendly, the little ones enjoyed the inside pool and the adults enjoyed the restaurant and great drinks

It was a great location, staff was friendly. The AC worked and was not noisy. The room was clean and comfy except for it was a little smaller than I expected. Bathrooms seemed clean, they provided me with enough towels, soaps and shampoo. Also they provided me with bottled water daily and the rooms were cleaned everyday.

My best memory of this hotel will be the wonderful staff from the parking area, front desk, restaurant, etc. They were so helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and a bargain! It met all our needs and we would return again. My only negative comment has to be that there was no elevator down to the restaurant and I have mobility problems.

We were there for only 2 days for a graduation, and the hotel was fine for that. However, the rooms were small with two double beds, very clean, and comfortable. If we were there longer, would have liked a larger room or suite. Restaurant food on site was very good, and everyone was very friendly and courteous.

I booked the hotel for my sister and elderly mother on their visit to Guadalajara. It was very accommodating for both of them. For me, it was a good, safe location with easy access to their private parking lot. They loved the restaurant, room, and staff. I live in Guadalajara, and have seen many of the actual hotels in the pictures in Orbitz. Many do not look as good in real life as in the pictures, but I can say that the picture here of the center of the hotel actually does not do it justice, as the hotel is actually much more attractive and nice. This hotel has easy access, and unless you are actually seeking to be stuck on some congested side street, I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a nice place to stay, who wants to come and go to various places in the city.

The County Plaza was a decent hotel, in a perfect location. We had business in the Zapopan section of Guadalajara, so the address on Ave de las Americas worked out perfectly. I would have liked a bathtub, though, and the room air conditioner was loud and either too hot or too cold.
