Patio: Inspired by popular Mexican proverbs, the patio is a pleasant and tranquil place to enjoy breakfast, under Guadalajaras first and only hanging garden. This is an absolutely marvelous area that will entice the senses of even the most demanding clients.
Restaurant Frida: The restaurant serves innovative Mexican haute-cuisine and is dedicated to rescuing exquisite traditional recipes, like those that laura esquivel writes of in her novel "like water for chocolate". This space has the capacity for 80 diners and is dedicated to most recognized artist, frida kahlo. It also has an elegant terrace with spectacular views over the square, the barroque church and the ex-convento del carmen.
Bar-Cafe Rulfo: The bar-cafe is one of the most picturesque areas of the building, where one can literally feel ensconced in the most memorable moments of the belle epoque, and where one can find books to read or leaf through, chessboards and a bar with the most attentive service. The terrace overlooking the square is ideal for those who enjoy a cuban cigar with a cup of the most delicious coffee in guadalajara.
