Feel the modernity and tradition that characterize the city of Guadalajara in Camino Real Guadalajara's facilities and team.

It is a beautiful, horizontal, architectonic complex, one of a kind, designed around a beautiful interior landscape, surrounded by gardens that create the sensation of an oasis.

It is located on the western part of the city, in front of one of the main malls, the Gran Plaza, 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown, and only 8 minutes from the Expo-Guadalajara exhibit center. It is located between two of Guadalajara's most important avenues (Vallarta and Lazaro Cardenas), therefore, access to the hotel is easy.

The rooms are located in horizontal buildings amidst lush gardens and luxuriant trees that provide comfort and peace to our guests. They are decorated in a Contemporary Mexican style over a 40 sq. meter floor plan that allows for an unbeatable size, and all have large terraces with a beautiful view of the gardens that invite relaxation.

Food quality is a characteristic of Camino Real Guadalajara. It has two restaurants: a specialty restaurant, "Aquellos Tiempos" and the "La Huerta" cafeteria, where the best dishes are served with an informal international touch.

Hotel Amenities: Hotel amenities include four pools, business center, restaurant, room service, concierge, mini-golf, tennis court, and gym.

The hotel should be 3 1/2 STARS!!!

I need coffee in the morning. It was ashame that there was not any mini coffee maker in the rooms, that were complimentary, like other hotels I have stayed in. The main pool is right in the front, so unless you like to strutt your stuff, it can get a bit initmidating. However, the mini pools in the back were great. Also, the gardens were beautifully kept, rooms were cleaned to perfection. The rugs need to be cleaned up a bit. The buffet for breakfast is extremely pricey, at 25.00 US dollars. The room service food was also ranging from 15 to 30.00 us dollars for your order. It was very quiet in the rooms at night. VAlet was cheap, so definately valet!

The hotel was a great experience. The food was excellent and the outdoor breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The grounds were beautiful and great for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and they were updating several rooms. The amenities in the rooms were lacking, no refrigerators and coffee was hard to come by. None of the negatives took away from the experience.

Enjoyable stay

The grounds were very comfortable and beautiful with centuries old fiscus trees accompanied by well tended landscaping. The multiple pools were aesthetically and conveniently located. We enjoyed many poolside and indoor meals where the service was exceptional as was the room service. The location is a distance from the downtown area which was easily accessed by taxis which were usually waiting at the front entrance. More accessible, available information about Guadalajara, including transportation options, detailed maps and surrounding areas would have been appreciated. There are more economically priced hotels but for character and service, the Camino Real is a good choice.
