The pools, tennis courts and gardens are very nice. However, the rooms are very basic, which is fine for one night.

Fantastic place, not so much what you pay for what you get
This is a splendid getaway with great landscapes. The sad part is when you get to your room. The layout of a deluxe room is average but the bed and pillows are very hard and the closet smells like mould. The vanity lights are not enough to make you beautiful. I would definitely think twice before staying there again.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing gardens and scenery. Food pretty good. My room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that needs to be updated is the television. Staff very helpful. I would not hesitate to go back.

Nice hotel but isolated
The hotel was really beautiful. Nice gardens. The staff is nice and helpful. The only big drawback is that the hotel is far from everything. You need a taxi. The taxi system is not that good. They are expensive compared to others and they only have one company working at the hotel. Regarding transportation to the airport in Mexico City, in the mornings you can only take the private transportation, no taxi, and is more than double. The other option is taking a Bus.

Beautiful gardens; OK service
We came as a family to Camino Real Sumiya to get away from the craziness of the swine flu in Mexico (where we're living for a year). It was very relaxing with stunning buildings and gardens. The kids spent all their time with other kids in the pool, so it was fun. The rooms were very small and they were a little disorganized for our check-in and check-out. Like when I pointed out that they forgot to bill us for a dinner, it took them forever to correct and and finally we just went back to the pool and swam while they figured it out. But all in all it was very relaxing and a good get-away.
